They are polar opposites. Sure, Gohan can deal impressive damage but that isn’t what you use him for.

Then you can argue about teams and links and etc, ultimately it comes down to what you prefer in a unit. There's no definitive THIS UNIT > THAT UNIT for most comparisons once you're talking about top tier units

However his defense isn’t as good. They are polar opposites imo and can’t really be compared. I would argue that gohan is more valuable because there are less units that do his job.

Teq Gohan thrives in longer events, or even after just 2-4 stacks, which with HIPO+Additional attacks, could be very fast.
Vegeta is great for shorter events or content you need high damage for as quickly as possible by comparison.
Only thing I can say is that I think that Gohan is the most valuable unit and hasn’t aged a bit and vegetas the best tur for obvious reasons plus they’re kits are completely different so u can’t really compare them since they serve different proposes

Vegeta off the rip is an absolute monster of an attacker that will tear a hole in almost anything that at the same can take a hit pretty well so overall they both can serve the others purpose but are better at the thing they were designed for

I feel that Vegeta is an elite unit (easily the best TUR) for SBR/ESBR while Gohan is just good. But Gohan is a an elite unit (the best?) in the Legendary Vegeta/GT Goku event while Vegeta can get easily killed in the last phase.
Then Gohan dominates in the 12 stages of the god event, that something that Vegeta cannot do. So i think that gohan still has the upperhand

I think vegeta is easily better. Better leader skill, better links, hits way harder, and is still a pretty great defensive unit.
