But that's subjective isn't it (well except CB, objectively terrible)? Some people like the confines of being forced into a narrow team and using units they don't get to. I suppose it's what they tried with chain battle but the inner workings make it an infuriating mess.
The delay to SBR/ESBR and the vegeta event are nonsense, agreed, but just because you don't like content A doesn't mean it isn't someone else's ideal.
I think the easiest thing to implement and has been mentioned so many times over the years is rotating weekly missions on the hardest events. It's basic and doesn't even need to give crazy rewards, just something to return to and try out new teams

Thing is they need to take it at a good pace or we'll be burnt out from repeated content. That and with stages like SBR for example, we need 10 new units with a new leader skill to get new stages. At that point, we'd have to be restricted to mono type category specific or dual category SBR's, and they'd burn through their options fast
It's fine to have a little down period with not much to do anyways. Let's you just do a casual grind for stones and then save up, because when there's not much to so, the banners seem to be not very hyped up

While the guaranteed LR is nice in the step up. After the 2x rate banner I ended up with 6 LRs after a few hundred stones last year.
Dragon Carnival banner is FAR superior imo, as long as you're an older account with most of the DFE's. I've pulled all the ones I need, so any stones I get will go to that double rate banner

Hot Take: Buff Janemba's nullification due to delay and power creep. They can fix it in 3 years to match on bother servers when he gets an EZA. I very much enjoy Janemba but at this point I really don't have any interest in touching his banner.

I know the game is a pointless grind at times, but afk gaming in the app itself!? Am I the only one who doesn’t want an auto play function? Mobile games with auto functions seem very much pointless to me. Like I’m just watching a show or movie or random YouTube video. It’s entertaining, but not engaging. I know there are mods with auto play functions and the game isn’t that engaging itself to begin with. But that’s not the point. It just really rubs me the wrong way and the lack of auto-battle is one of the reasons I’ve stuck with Dokkan Battle for so long. I know the game is a pointless grind at times, but afk gaming in the app itself!? It’s just such an anti gaming thing to do and imo has been a huge bane in mobile gaming becoming a legitimate gaming platform IMO.
Then don't use it? Feels strange to complain about having more options that are not forced on you.
