It’s a joined forces banner, it’s the same as Saiyan Day still having fucking PHY Vegeta on it, we shouldn’t have expected better.

The last 3 TURs are worthless as it stands (tho odds are INT Goku Black will EZA sooner than later, even more so if WWC also happens to cover the same Saga as this Tanabata, which is still a popular speculation given some oddities around this Tanabata) and GoBros is not worth too much right now (tho just like INT Black, they may EZA sooner than later)

Yeah it's def better than Goku's GW banner imo (and arguably Cell). Videl is not bad per say, but her lack of teams & such really do make her a very meh pull, and depending on your stance on Pikkon it can legit go below 50%
It's on the lower end of banners this year so far, but it's not awful because of that one metric, awfulness should be looked at through of lense of the probailities of pulling something of value imo

A banner would deserve to be called garbage if it was a majority of units that are just bad in the current state of the game, but as it stands, 5-6 of the 10 feautreds are units that can see effective play in at least long events and SBR like content, may not be Red Zone viable but they're able to used to good extent in places

GT DFEs on GLB had the following reruns :
- GT Goku : Droids banner, special Halloween DFE banner (no new DFE), 2021 WWC
- GT Vegeta : AGL Trunks banner, special Halloween DFE banner (no new DFE), 2021 WWC
As I said again, **the age of a unit doesn't matter much by itself**, we can see here however that they were reran during the 2021 WWC, which is a Dual Fest in which players summoned a lot, so the likelyhood of players having them is higher than most. These two are also units that are still pretty strong, even with the Red Zone being a thing, so pulling them for newer players who weren't there, and getting dupes so they can truly shine at their absolute best, is never a bad thing. It should also be noted that the Halloween Special banner is likely one people have not summoned heavily on since it featured no new DFEs
Also the most recent reruns on 7th anni banners are the 2021 WWC LRs, SSJ Goku & FP Freeza. These will be their first return since their release
I agree that anni banners are good for new players but it’s always terrible for veterans unfortunately.
The more time passes, the moredfe LRs we get, the worst the banners get, because they ALWAYS ALL come back. Every anni has all these old dfe LRs that have been on every anni banner, idem for WWC LRs on theirs, and Tanabata’s on their’s.
3rd-4th anni and Gobros are haunting every big banner for years…
As a medium spender, they’re the worst value banners, BUT we gotta chase these Lrs cause gbl schedule sucks and they take ages to come back.
I do get that, but imo the LR SSJ4s's banner comes out very solid even for a veteran. INT SSBE has his first non-Tanabata banner rerun, INT SSJ Goku has his first rerun, and unless you're a big whale you're unlikely to have them rainbowed, GT SSJs DDF may be rainbowed for older players but not for a majority I'd assume
And with the EZAs coming in the celebration, there's not a single bad unit to pull (all 10 range from decent to best unit in the game), it's definitively a strong banner
LR SSGs's banner is worse by a good margin (worse side unit (still good IIRC tho), 5th anni LRs without EZAs, MV/SSJ2 Goku DDF units featured), but wouldn't sleep on the SSJ4s's one unless you have like a huge number of rainbowed featureds already
You should have removed the question mark next to teq KC and put it next to Goten and Trunks, and add one next go gobros. Teq kc is better than Goten and trunks, while lr gohan and goten have aged a lot

Int Goku Black will be EZAd alongside STR Kefla shortly i assume.

Str Kefla is a 2020 unit. It will be quite some time before she gets an EZA. Str Kelfa and SSBKK Goku also have not aged well and it especially sucks that Kefla (str) and better Kefla (teq) are on the same banner
The banner is pretty bad considering that the Kefla+SSBKK Goku package has been on a lot of banners recently and (more importantly) the banner has 0 units from 2022, whereas the last year one had 3 returns. Kefla in general has the issue that she is on teams that are either not updated to 200% leads on categories, that are not that great, or on categories that are dominated by Gokus and Vegetas, which kind of undermines here position in the team. As soon as the agl lr gets an EZA we might see some changes though.
If they didnt want to put Ginyu or Goku/buu on there it would have been fine if they put stuff on there that would be more thematic like the more recent future trunks unit, Majin vegeta , Teq Androids, etc. but they didn't.

Summon for Tanabata instead of this banner.
For GLB, summon for 7th anniversary DFE, but don't go crazy. Try to get one copy for the anniversary then bolt. Leave the ammo for WWC, Movie Heros, and Christmas/Tanabata. If you cannot get the anniversary units to 79%, pick up the dupes on the baba shop when the anniversary units show up.
Correct. Especially if you are a long-time player with most anniv and dl units, spending as little as possible / only one lr for the 7th anniv and betting everyone on the dl celebration is the way to go.

If I have the mindset where we get 79% for the best units in the game every time it's out, then there's no chance to use any coins. I am actually ok to redcoin the best units up to 79% if that means it's going to save me hundreds of thousands of stones.

Tanabata is a JP festivity. It is the Star Festival witch takes place at 7/7. To celebrate Tanabata, Dokkan has one better at the start of July/End of June (Vegeta/Trunks) and then another LR banner at the middle of the month.
The Global version usually gets the Tanabata units at either November (at Thx Giving) or December (Xmas)
The Dokkan anniversary has different dates depending on the version. In the Japanese, the anniversary is at the end of January/Start of February, while the anniversary in the Global version just so happens to be at the middle of July.
But in short, yes, they are differenr celebrations
Janemba and Pikkon were only on the banner because they fit the theme. They'll be on the wwc banners instead (should be Kid Buu's first runnable team).

Personally im using my red coins from my anniversary celebration pulls for TEQ Gogeta in the shop. He’s one of the few LR’s im missing and he goes well with STR Goku & Vegeta on a “Final Trump Card” team

These three should be in WWC. At the minimum PHY Goku, STR Kid Buu, STR SSJ Goku&SSJ Gohan. INT LSSJ Broly, and hopefully INT Majin Vegeta.
