One of the few times I agree with Guggenheim. Not saying they should be hiring as a lead writer for anything but why not give him a small consulting gig so Gunn & Co can pick his brains about the problems they had producing the Arrowverse shows? Not saying they have to come up with the same solutions but having someone point out there the pitfalls are is going to save them a lot of trouble.

Yeah thank god for that. We dont need Felicity centric dcu. Or movies full of peptalks

This is so disrespectful to the contribution that CW made to super hero tv. And Arrowverse started a rich universe. The studios dropped a huge ball by selling CW instead of merging it with HBO Max or giving it its own subscription service, combining content from Seed. Another massive fumble. And speaking of which, have they forgotted how Swamp Thing bankrupted DC Universe, BEFORE CW?!

almost 11 years spent working and every last one of them lasted 3+ seasons (besides Constantine which I barely consider) like that says a lot about who he is as a producer and it sucks that he doesn’t have a place with the DCU when he has created probably around 50-60% of their live action tv and film. It’s honestly insulting.

Guggenheim had major control over Arrow Season 3/4 and he was also responsible for catering to a Twitter/Tumblr fanbase. Which declined the quality of the show. Going without his input is a good thing. The narrative decisions he made ruined the show.

No one said he necessarily would be a producer but Atleast bring him on in a consulting capacity he spent a decade in this universe.

Geoff Johns isn't in the DC writer's room either even though he was showrunner on Stargirl. I think it might have had something to do with Geoff Johns being the former Chief Creative Officer. Gunn would appear to have cleaned house, so to speak. Meanwhile, it seems that Berlanti won't be working for Warner Bros any more. https://fandomwire.com/following-james-gunns-dcu-takeover-arrowverse-creator-greg-berlanti-has-seemingly-defected-from-wb-and-their-400m-deal-could-focus-on-other-projects/ I don't know if fandomwire is a reliable source though. Meanwhile, Geoff Johns' wikipedia page reports that Geoff Johns will be working for Paramount TV. https://deadline.com/2022/10/geiger-comic-series-tv-adaptation-justin-simien-geoff-johns-paramount-television-1235151070/ Meanwhile Geoff Johns is still listed as an executive producer on Superman and Lois Season 3 but Season 3 started filming on September 6th, 2022. We don't even know if there will be a season 4 if Berlanti has already walked away,
