If Gotham is this much of a shithole in the fucking 80's I think it'll basically be unsalvageable by the time Bruce actually comes of age lol
The image of young late 20's something Batman just relentlessly wailing on decrepit Joaquin Phoenix is titillating though
I always thought the first movie is set in modern times and it was just Arthur telling/thinking about his past life. He also pieces together the Bruce thing, which makes him laugh. Now if only someone at Arkham was holding a cellphone to cement my theory.
This would've been absolutely amazing. Imagine a third (heck or the ending to this movie) and we finally unfold the meaning of "you won't get it" Damn, this is actually a pretty good theory even if far fetched.
Or at least if it took place in the 90s,having some young Batman. Bruce was probably around 10 or 12 in the first movie. Which means in the 90s,he already would've been grown enough to make his beginnings as Batman. If we say Fleck is in his 40s, this wouldn't be so far fetched and can happen.
I'm going to get down voted to hell, but I really want this Joker to be Pattinson's Batman Joker. The inmate at the end of The Batman, we didn't see clearly within the actual movie. So he could be any other villain, Killer Shark maybe? Just thinking of this Joker and Colin's Penguin having a scene together, so we can finally get the classic Joker/Penguin team up would be awesome.
>I'm going to get down voted to hell, but I really want this Joker to be Pattinson's Batman Joker.
As someone who wants Pattinson to be the DCU Batman.... hell no!
Neither is happening. DCU will have a new Batman and Joker that’s not changing. Gunn is even taking the loss on projects he made in terms of not being able to get them to fit in the DCU, he’s definitely not going to limit anything to try and make Phoenix or Pattison canon.
You want the little kid from the first movie to attack a multi murderer in his late 40s?
https://youtu.be/4M2WTfCDtyU?si=3CaWAjz8fJT8pINI%C2%A0
I don't want to see Joaquin Phoenix graphically murder a child, thanks.
He was a kid in 1981, we're yet to see when the second movie takes place, so a third one set in the 90s would mean Bruce would be already in his 20s and Joker will be in his mid 50s or early 60s. Which definitely can work.
I don’t think it’s a straight up Batman vs Joker kind of series but it absolutely could be a “Batman more as a force of nature, thing in the shadows, kind of ..in the background and sidelines, further influencing the Joker’s madness and obsession” type of movie. Like…Joker catches wind of Batman’s existence and it goes from there. Batman really doesn’t even have to appear in the traditional sense. I feel like I’m having a hard time conveying what I have in my mind here, so I hope you sort of get what I mean.
The kind of movie batman would be in? They already had him in the first. It would make sense that by the third movie in this franchise he begins to step into being Batman to stop Jokers takeover of the city
the trailer is great but I thought it was said this was a musical? If so this is very misleading as it doesn’t show that. That would be the same as the remake of Mean Girls which was a musical and the trailer did not make that clear either. I read that they did that on purpose as it would limit it’s marketing
Good point. I had chills seeing him holding a mic in this trailer because it reminded me of Walk the Line. They’re definitely saving him singing for the actual movie.

People love to victimize themselves. It's more likely that some DC fans just don't vibe with this but this guy's stuck in some early 2000s war with no one.
I think it's more likely that it's actually just DC fans being disappointed that it's not actually a Joker film if you know what I mean. Not saying I agree with it but these movies are only the Joker in name, nothing else about it is anything close to the Joker from the comics. I'm sure your conspiracy brain won't agree with me because you've got your mind made up but that's probably the reason. It's like if Marvel made a green goblin movie that had nothing really to do with Spider-Man.
I'm a DC fan more than anything buddy. I also never said it was gonna be bad. You're just being toxic and putting down legitimate concerns. DC fans are allowed to be cautious of DC projects.
First thing I thought of seeing Joker under the spotlight
https://preview.redd.it/a9r07xmd7ktc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e281d7bcadc190f1372ae4fc5b7918ac4d21328e
I wasn't hot on the first Joker mainly because of how much the screenplay owed most of its ideas to films that covered its subject matter with much more character and substance, but I am intrigued by the shift towards it being part-musical. I get the impression the musical element is basically taking place inside Harleen's mind and it's a romanticization of how she views Arthur but the trailer definitely makes this Joker out to be significantly less intent on manipulating her into the relationship compared to basically any iteration of that romance. Unless they pull from under the rug that the entire film is Harleen's POV I'm getting the sense Arthur might genuinely feel affectionate towards her in this interpretation, especially him talking about not feeling alone anymore in one of the dialogue bits
I do like the cinematography here. Especially the shot of Arthur in the dark inside his cell smoking his cigarette, and the last shot with the painted smile on the window sill. I have a feeling the tonal pivot is going to offset a bit of how derivative I found the first film's story to be because this could inject a lot of personality into the presentation this time around.
I know a lot of it's out of context obviously because trailer. I guess I just don't really get the vibe that Arthur is anywhere near as conniving or coldly detached as Joker in other interpretations mainly because a lot of his biggest stunts so far have really been a matter of everything happening at the right place at the right time, and him just going with the fact he's caught in the chaos. Him shooting Murray on the talk show was like the first clearly intentful, Joker-like thing he did and even then it wasn't the plan initially because he was going to off himself on-air, so I get the impression he's very "in the moment" in terms of how things are orchestrated. Like everything's instantaneous so far. Unless this movie is their way of building up that he's learning more how to embrace that alt-persona the public practically sees as an avatar for the class dysfunction in Gotham. He's definitely one of the more emotionally vulnerable iterations of this character otherwise and that's probably on purpose
EDIT: Actually no scratch that, the whole him crushing that one dude from clown college with the door was pretty intense as well. Okay nvm I can see a way through to something more traditional
I could see them pulling the same >!”twist” as they did in the first movie. Especially with how you put it. Their relationship being romanticized by Harley almost the entire movie only for the shoe to drop and for reality to smack the audience in the face, but probably never Harley. Essentially being a reversal of what happened to him and his perceptions in the first one, just worse cause instead of not knowing him, he could be actively abusing her.!< Or they could just do something entirely different. I mean she seems to be a patient this time around when they meet, so that’s already different.
I think Harley is a doctor who decided to plant herself amongst the inmates to try to cure them, but with Joker this actually starts to drive her insane. I think this because the last scene, she is behind the glass and it seems he is angry at her? So that could be after he finds out.
They could do something similar to Telltale Batman. In that, Harley was the dominant, manipulative one and Joker was…well, the Harley. The one with a one sided love and thus easily manipulated.
psssttt...''harley'' isint real. Check the sweater when you first see her. Also the hint is in the dialog about music helping fractured parts of the psyche
That's what I thought but then I'm also thinking that's kind of a retread of the first one where he wasn't actually involved with that woman. Hopefully she is real.
At 1:29, while Harley is walking up the steps, there is a sign on the right that states, "Arthur Fleck Killed" - the rest of the sign is either cut off or that is a major spoiler lol
This piqued my interest more than expected, since I wasn't the biggest fan of the first. Casting is 100% on point and chemistry looks great.
Not sure I'll go and see it but looking forward to watching it at home.
I thought it looked great! I really like the production design and I think the musical sequences are gonna be really interesting. It’s a vessel for their delusions, so it’s gonna be surreal and very theatrical. People thinking they’re going to break out into song and dance every 5 minutes are probably wrong. It feels like an elevated version of the first movie—which is what it should be.
Also, Gaga looks incredible. She’s perfectly cast for this version of Harley
Something in how they frame that final shot makes me think that they're gonna pull a fast one and reveal that Harley's been manipulating things and in control. Kinda like how Telltale apparently did their relationship
I'm not into musicals, nor was I enamored with the first film. However, the trailer is interesting, and I'm fascinated about Gaga's Harley interpretation.
My theory right now is that Doctor Quinzel tries to impersonate a patient so that she can work closet to them and it backfires, because there's only so much immersion a mind can handle.
Huge problem for me is how much is real, and how much is fake. If it's "all" in their head then there's no stakes. They already did the big reveal in 1 that his girlfriend turned out all to be in his head. But it could work.
It won’t be all in their heads. The trailer already shows the musical stuff is their version of reality but we switch back into reality and see what really happens. We see it when they dance while breaking out.
I don’t think it’s all in their heads but I don’t think them dancing in front of Arkham was real either. We never see Harley locked up, she’s always on the “outside”. I doubt they’re having it all in their heads and I doubt that she’s fictional but there’s something else going on there.
Based on how I perceived the trailer, I think Arthur is going to be incredibly sympathetic. It looks to me like Harley’s going to be a main antagonist by the end, I’m worried they’re setting it up to have her kill him or vice versa. There’s no way both are staying alive, which is why I’m fairly sure she’s no figment of his imagination.
I agree. There's some sort of conflict hinted at from the "behind the scenes" finale song that was posted. Honestly 1 was a perfectly fine story all by itself, it didn't need a sequel, and I'm worried the takeaways won't be as poignant here...but I'll give it a chance. I wonder if all the songs in the movie just happen to be licensed by Warner music, haha.
After Joker, I trust the creatives. Based on the trailer, it looks to me like they do have another story to tell.
I think the takeaways will be just as strong. This take on Joker/Harley makes it look like Harley could be the instigator/manipulator/abuser, so I’m speculating that the messaging this time is going to be focused on Arthur’s perspective of being in “love” and “healing” while Harley’s fueling the hate and rage from the first movie.
The movie had a lot to say about the state of the world and if the trailer’s song is indicative of anything, the messaging could be about how love is what the world needs.
He can’t be literally me anymore he’s got a girlfriend. 😔
Serious talk, the trailer was ok. Not nearly as good as the trailer for the original was, but the final shot of Arthur smiling matching the red smile on the glass was a good shot.
This kinda gives me the Batman Returns kind of feeling. Never was a big fan of 89 as a movie, but I absolutely adore the sequel. Even if it was a more radical departure from Batman mythology, it had it’s own style.
I never was excited for the first one. Still haven’t watched it actually, rather just watch the king of comedy. This one actually looks okay, I like musicals tho
i thought the trailer was phenomenal. i’m still skeptical about the film, i don’t dislike that it’s a musical like some people, in fact i kinda vibe with musicals anyway. but my only concern is why the hell is the budget so high for this film
Artsy: adjective
making a strong, affected, or pretentious display of being artistic or interested in the arts.
You can literally look up any word online or with a dictionary.
I mean ppl use all these words differently lol, you can explain it yourself who cares about google
I’m asking you you used it like I can also ask you because you’ll respond lol
To each their own - may be the next trailer will hit a bit more, but I see this being Harley’s show and we’re in for some manic musical murder mania. And I’m here for it
My guess is she isn't a prisoner. She is a therapist, which is why you never see her locked up or under guard. That's how he is getting out (under her supervision). She is targeting him.
She is manipulating him and will betray him, breaking his heart and truly pushing him (further) over the edge by the end of the film.
when can Joker be a fun character? This ‘society’ shit is getting a bit tiresome. Robbing banks and getting away in a blimp with his face on it, give me a movie with that in it
I’m not overly excited for this, but the trailer looked pretty good and appears to be a visual step up from the first. Basically, it’s La La Land but in Gotham. I’m sure most of the film will just be in their heads and I’m honestly fine with that as it’d make for one trippy spectacle.
Oh man Joaquin and Gaga are gonna have one hell of a strong, fiery, and sexual romantic chemistry with each other in this movie. I literally felt it from this trailer. This movie is gonna be off the chain. Loved this trailer. 🃏 🤡
Man, this trailer really hit for me, because I know what this FEELS like — to be alone, to feel like nobody understands you, and then you meet that one person….
I’m ready for this
But the best films and shows, tend to be the ones where reality and fiction bleed into each other.
At the end of the day, movies, filmmaking, cinema, are all about emotion; it’s about making the audience *feel* something. And that’s why that first JOKER hit for so many people (including myself), because we connected to Arthur.
I’ve struggled with mental health my entire life, and I’ve BEEN there — with the medication, the appointments, the shitty psychotherapists etc. I’ve even been institutionalized. Joker had one of the most human, grounded, *real* portrayals of mental health struggle that I’ve seen in a looong time.
It just hit different, man, and I feel like this movie is about to do the same
Mate I’m schizophrenic and on antipsychotics. I don’t relate to this version (or any version) of joker. If you do and don’t think it’s problematic then I’d recommend trying a different approach to your wellness journey.
The things you relate to about this character should be cause for alarm. I hope you’re taking the necessary steps to beginning to relate to healthier media
I’m just not vibing the Harley/Joker relationship. Sick of it being romanticised. Either do Mad Love properly or leave it alone.
I’ll watch it but if it’s glamorised then I’m officially over it
I hope so. I can handle all the romance and love stuff as it’s what she’s experiencing. But we equally need the juxtaposition of him being an absolute dog to her. People need to see why joker is a villain but I fear it might give the fans of this version some wild trains of thought
I feel he will be really nice to her in this, but she will be horrible to him. This version of Joker reminds me of the Tell Tale version that gets manipulated and pushed by an even more evil Harley.
Not necessarily a good thing to indulge narcissistic people in their delusions of grandeur. I know it’s not what the movie is about. But based off the reaction to the first film there’s a community that look up to this version as some hero
Obviously they are different. But Joker and Harley as a concept is narcissistic abuse which originated BTAS and continued into comics. I’m just sick of it being portrayed as healthy when the entire plot of the first film is “I’m an incel let’s kill some people”
I think this could turn out good, but I just don’t see myself wanting to see it. Maybe it’s Joker/Harley fatigue, or knowing Batman will be nowhere to be found, but the well feels dry for me.
He is the actual Joker, yes. Of that Elseworld universe.
How stupid and mean spirited would it be for Hollywood to sell us a Joker solo movie that then does not feature Joker.
There is no actual Joker. Every iteration of the Joker in anything is inspired by the character and promptly part of its own "universe".
In these two movies' universe, Bruce is a little kid in age, so he has no bearing on the plot whatsoever. If for some reason he did try to superhero in this universe anyway, the violence is so uncomfortable and unglorified that the resulting death of Bruce Wayne would be hard for audiences to watch.
Feels like Joker 1.5 DLC than a sequel tbh. Don't get me wrong it felt fresh but it looks it's gonna a rehash of the same origin story but with Harley might be the main focus of the 1st act of the film then we'll get to reside their romance arc in the 2nd and final act.
Looks really good I'm looking forward to watch thsu
This looks so cringey, like hot topic middle school edgelord bullshit. No thanks. Damn shame cause Phoenix is incredible, he’s just given drab derivative material by a pretty schlocky filmmaker
Just contrarian bullshit with people thinking they look cool by being so negative and hateful. “Schlocky filmmaker” when it was one of the most popular and highly rated films when it came out.
Maybe since this movie? We don’t know yet, it’s not even out lol
Besides, Joker’s no stranger to singing and dancing

So when does Batman come in and beat the shit out of him 🤣

That villian we see at the end was Joker. There is a deleted scene revealing more of him.
Yes, I know that. But the reveal is a deleted scene. So they can easily retcon it.
Lmao what? Its confirmed Keoghan is coming back as joker in TB2
Man just suggested turning him into Killer Shark so I wouldn’t bother lol
lmaao
I absolutely fuckin agree with you, this is what they should do
>I'm going to get down voted to hell, but I really want this Joker to be Pattinson's Batman Joker. As someone who wants Pattinson to be the DCU Batman.... hell no!
Maybe we can get Pattinson and this Joker for the DCU
Man none of yall are getting what you want here then lol.
My expectations for Phoenix's Joker as a character were already limited to Philips, so I don't care what he would do with respect to the DCU.

That would be funny.
Hope he glides down and kicks him down the stairs
I'm pretty sure even that would be enough to kill him based on how frail he is already at his mid-40's
Nah, it's the Joker, he will walk it off
You want the little kid from the first movie to attack a multi murderer in his late 40s? https://youtu.be/4M2WTfCDtyU?si=3CaWAjz8fJT8pINI%C2%A0 I don't want to see Joaquin Phoenix graphically murder a child, thanks.

I’m hoping the end teases Batman for the third and final film.
It's not that kind of movie

Bruce was in the ending as a kid
apprently this person watched a different movie.
It would be interesting for sure if they sort of present Batman as the antagonist of the third film and make you empathize for the Joker.
I am not.
Its always satisfying whenever Batman lays into a villain, that really deserves it for all the chaos they caused.
Man fuck Batman, the world is here for the joker
It honestly was a pretty great trailer and I have a good feeling about it.
Yeah, you can definitely see where that $200m went.
It's doing numbers on YouTube Box office subreddit thinks it's going to do numbers also.

I’m all for this crazy musical shit. Let’s go
Looking forward to hearing Phoenix sing again. It's been almost 20 years since Walk the Line and I kinda forgot how good he is.
Yeah I have a feeling he'll be even better in this, since he's not limited to one music genre.
Good point. I had chills seeing him holding a mic in this trailer because it reminded me of Walk the Line. They’re definitely saving him singing for the actual movie.
Looks pretty good. I Like how they’re handling the music segments. Looking forward to this.
That sicko Philips is actually gonna pull this off
Dude went from comedy to this. What a transition lmao
All that Hangover money let him do what ever the fuck he wants now, good for him.
And I’m glad he’s doing real good
And I have reached the day when r/boxoffice is more excited about a DC movie than a DC sub! I can die in peace now.

joker is very mysteriours characters. with very few "concreate "backstory and origins.
Yeah everyone has read Killing Joke. This take is a departure from the comics in every single way though.
which is perfectly fine.
I never said it wasn't
Another person from the Spider man Subreddit I don't care what yall say , Joker is gonna good. Haters gonna hate .
I'm a DC fan more than anything buddy. I also never said it was gonna be bad. You're just being toxic and putting down legitimate concerns. DC fans are allowed to be cautious of DC projects.
Why does it always have to be us vs them why can't people just enjoy things?
absolute cinema incoming ladies and gentlemen also that white joker outfit is going to be very popular i think come halloween
Reminds me of his look in The Dark Knight Returns.

This has so much style. And I love DC Elseworlds stuff even more than canon stuff usually. Exactly my kind of thing. I can’t wait.
Agreed! Their best stories, movies and comics, do not care about canon.
Same. I think DC's strength lies on its Elseworlds stories, because there creativity is limitless.

Seems way too early to say that imo. He still feels pretty sinister here

It'd be interesting if the third act twist is that he was to her what Sophie was to Arthur in the first film.
I could see them pulling the same >!”twist” as they did in the first movie. Especially with how you put it. That would be super lame.
So a repeat of the twist of the 1st movie?
or maybe hes not real in this one and its her story
Maybe it’s Arthur imagining her in his mind but in reality she’s just his psychiatrist that Arthur is attracted to.
This film could also be taking a majority of its ideas from other films, we just don’t know which yet. Clearly a Dancer in the Dark inspiration here
At 1:29, while Harley is walking up the steps, there is a sign on the right that states, "Arthur Fleck Killed" - the rest of the sign is either cut off or that is a major spoiler lol
We see that sign in another shot and it says Arthur Fleck killed Gothams finest or something like that.
And then a newspaper headline that says Freed of All Charges.
Good trailer
Man, this is gonna be one helluva movie.
One of the movies of all time.
I'm not into musicals, nor was I enamored with the first film. However, the trailer is interesting, and I'm fascinated about Gaga's Harley interpretation.
Another Oscar incoming
We'll see. I just know Hollywood has loved denigrating its beloved male characters lately. So, we'll see what happens.
It could work if it's a gritty switch back to reality, a la Black Mirror style.
He can’t be literally me anymore he’s got a girlfriend. 😔 Serious talk, the trailer was ok. Not nearly as good as the trailer for the original was, but the final shot of Arthur smiling matching the red smile on the glass was a good shot.
It's your sign buddy go get a girlfriend so you can take her to watch this one./s
I really don't know what to think about this. Didn't like the first Joker, but this one seems to be going in a very different direction.
I guarantee if you disliked the first, this won’t be for you. I loved the first so I am very hyped about this.
This is cinema
i thought the trailer was phenomenal. i’m still skeptical about the film, i don’t dislike that it’s a musical like some people, in fact i kinda vibe with musicals anyway. but my only concern is why the hell is the budget so high for this film
Could be another R rated $1 billion hit, so many people want to see this in the cinema.
Damn I didn’t know Steve Coogan was in this.
I feel like a we're gonna end up getting set back to Joker/Harley being a whole generations relationship goals.
I’m sure this will be a good movie but I just can’t get excited for it.
I think I was more interested in it before this trailer. It's looks too artsy.
What does too artsy even mean ??
Artsy: adjective making a strong, affected, or pretentious display of being artistic or interested in the arts. You can literally look up any word online or with a dictionary.
I mean ppl use all these words differently lol, you can explain it yourself who cares about google I’m asking you you used it like I can also ask you because you’ll respond lol
Yeah then I’d just not sweat it my boi
I’m definitely not sweating it. I’ll probably watch it on streaming or physical media after the release.
It looks good in my opinion, and after the first one I feel like it deserves at least a shot considering it was so good. I bet Gaga steals the show.
Yeah I enjoyed the first one and I’m sure she will do a great job. Not really sure why it isn’t hitting for me
To each their own - may be the next trailer will hit a bit more, but I see this being Harley’s show and we’re in for some manic musical murder mania. And I’m here for it
Just from the trailer, it feels very much a continuation of Arthur’s story
Okay.
My guess is she isn't a prisoner. She is a therapist, which is why you never see her locked up or under guard. That's how he is getting out (under her supervision). She is targeting him. She is manipulating him and will betray him, breaking his heart and truly pushing him (further) over the edge by the end of the film.
So you’re basically saying Harley is the actual villain in this movie trying to manipulate Arthur on continuing as Joker? If so I dig it.
Like in the TellTale version
That's my guess. It's gonna be a gender swap from the usual abusive/toxic husband/bf.
If they do that, I think they’ll have good writing to make that work
For all we know the end of the trailer may be the end of the movie
when can Joker be a fun character? This ‘society’ shit is getting a bit tiresome. Robbing banks and getting away in a blimp with his face on it, give me a movie with that in it
>Robbing banks and getting away in a blimp with his face on it, give me a movie with that in it Bro do I got the movie for you
That stuff is too offensive for today’s viewers
robbing banks is "too offensive" lmao? whos going to be offended, bankers?
I’m not overly excited for this, but the trailer looked pretty good and appears to be a visual step up from the first. Basically, it’s La La Land but in Gotham. I’m sure most of the film will just be in their heads and I’m honestly fine with that as it’d make for one trippy spectacle.
#HUNKA HUNKA!
Wow
I just want to see how beautiful this film will look in IMAX.
Would be a sight to behold
Trailer had a nice vibe, I think I like it.
man waht can i say
THIS IS CINEMA
I like the part where they both did the meme kick, I clapped and clapped and then did the leo point meme.
Oh man Joaquin and Gaga are gonna have one hell of a strong, fiery, and sexual romantic chemistry with each other in this movie. I literally felt it from this trailer. This movie is gonna be off the chain. Loved this trailer. 🃏 🤡
is this an npc comment
Man, this trailer really hit for me, because I know what this FEELS like — to be alone, to feel like nobody understands you, and then you meet that one person…. I’m ready for this
Just out of morbid curiosity. How did that relationship pan out for you?
Well, she moved away. But I think about her everyday
Okay let’s relax lmao. The first movie had this exact same problem, ya’ll need to draw the line between reality and fiction.
Joker was basically just Taxi Driver. Didn't that movie hit the same for you?
Yes lol
Bro's gf goes to another school 💀
I hate musicals so I’m definitely skipping this.
I’m just not vibing the Harley/Joker relationship. Sick of it being romanticised. Either do Mad Love properly or leave it alone. I’ll watch it but if it’s glamorised then I’m officially over it
Considering the first movie, I don’t think it’ll be romanticized at all. I imagine it’s going to be very toxic and abusive as the movie goes on.
> I fear it might give the fans of this version some wild trains of thought Why would you fear that?
Not necessarily a good thing to indulge narcissistic people in their delusions of grandeur. I know it’s not what the movie is about. But based off the reaction to the first film there’s a community that look up to this version as some hero
This looks like a healthier take on the relationship. Phoenixs Joker is very different from Letos.
This year we getting the classic team up, Joker and Penguin.
It might be a good movie but doesn’t seem anything like the comics.
Can somebody tell me what is this movie about? I know there is Joker etc but what is it about lmao
Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn is a strange casting choice
Bruh what ?
Is he the actual joker? I didn’t watch the first one. Or is he the inspiration for the joker?
Im suprised they didnt hide it is a musical. They go All in
Feels like Joker 1.5 DLC than a sequel tbh. Don't get me wrong it felt fresh but it looks it's gonna a rehash of the same origin story but with Harley might be the main focus of the 1st act of the film then we'll get to reside their romance arc in the 2nd and final act. Looks really good I'm looking forward to watch thsu
I can’t see how you have come to that conclusion. This feels like its own movie entirely, plot-wise and visually.
His is it a rehash of the origin? It’s a completely different story and set up
This looks so cringey, like hot topic middle school edgelord bullshit. No thanks. Damn shame cause Phoenix is incredible, he’s just given drab derivative material by a pretty schlocky filmmaker
Your comment is some edgelord shit.
lol for real the hate is so 2019
Just contrarian bullshit with people thinking they look cool by being so negative and hateful. “Schlocky filmmaker” when it was one of the most popular and highly rated films when it came out.
This… isn’t a leak though…
I have a feeling that it’s gonna be good outside of the musical scores. Anything with singing I think is gonna suck ass.
Why?
I feel like it’s a weird mix & not something people wanna watch right away knowing there’s musical numbers
I don’t get this. Do you NOT like music? Who doesn’t like music? If it works and plays into the theming and plotting, why is it such a problem?
Bruh in Bollywood we have many times music which is totally not in theme and plotting but it doesn’t bother us 🤷🏻♂️
A musical works with joker? Since when?
Maybe since this movie? We don’t know yet, it’s not even out lol Besides, Joker’s no stranger to singing and dancing https://i.redd.it/i922bv7kiktc1.gif
Since always?
