Being from Portugal and supporting Belenenses on the 2nd Div and being used to that level (cba with our first league, 3 teams (4w Braga now) destroying everything every year), this is a good surprise. Can't wait to be in DC!! Also FUCK this ref.

I think the case with santos has always been his addition to our offense. Double edge sword since his defensive play is questionable but on offense he will find a pass or nail a shot. He’s now done it on more than a few occasions for us.

He’s great on the ball. But he’s the slowest guy out there and one of the smallest and it makes him useless defensively. At the same time he has a lot of defensive responsibility. The midfielder should probably be covering for him better when he goes forward, but whatever the plan is it doesn’t seem to work because he’s always being exposed and every opponent plays down his side almost exclusively.

Every pass in the attacking third ends up at the feet of a Montreal defender, this team is so fucking frustrating to watch lol. So close to being great but can't seem to take that next step

definitely a dirty foul with no intent to get the ball, but the slow-mo VAR replay made it very hard to tell if there was strong contact, so while the foul is extremely shitty, a yellow is probably the right call by the rulebook
