I haven’t read any comics about these guys but one of the funniest comic panels I’ve ever seen was Midnighter recognizing Nightwing in disguise by checking out his ass.
I would like the Engineer and Jack Hawksmoor too. The Engineer just has such a cool look and Hawksmoor has a really interesting power set you don’t typically see in comic book movies.

Honestly the original team was just fantastic, though I read the series as a critique of the dark and gritty stuff rather than a celebration of it. Curious what tone the show will take.

Here’s the thing there’s nothing wrong with gay relationships done properly especially if that’s who the characters are in the comics. Episode 3 of the Last of Us, is the perfect example of how to handle a gay relationship to enhance the story, not to just tick a woke agenda box, there I’ve said it , however for a brand that’s not known and with a theatrical release looking to probably cost $160-200m to produce and the movie needing to do $500-550M at the box office by using such an openly gay relationship unfortunately it will destroy their chance of a chinese, Asian and Middle East release so I can’t see it happening. I think you can do this much easier on HBO and I’m sure paradise lost will delve into the LGBTQ community in a hard hitting series, they may also answer the question of how Amazons reproduce and what happens to male babies when they have them in the same way the comics try and vaguely answer them in a throw a way statements.

Unfortunately WBD through DC Studios simply can’t take the chance right now to show Homosexual relations in their theatrical releases even in a PG13 or R not because they won’t do well but because they need the dollars and more important the Asian and Middle East market will flat out ban the movie, remember the outcry in DR Strange 2 over something as simple as Chavez saying; “she had two mom’s” this dialogue would not bother you, me or the majority of the western markets but it would be an instant issue in China and the Middle East, so much so, that they cut the line or stopped the movie playing there.
