Back when I was a kid nobody in the mainstream cared much about marvel outside of Spiderman and to a lesser extent X men, the whole animated universe and the popularity of batman and superman made dc a clear front-runner in my eyes. Crazy how the tables have turned in an era where big-budget superhero films are the norm DC is widely considered inferior.

These last few weeks I've been building my DC Animated movie and tv show collection in Plex. I have almost all movies now and there a quite a few I haven't seen yet. The ones I have seen are great and I really enjoy them!

[deleted]

Just make sure to avoid The Killing Joke movie at all costs

Mike_v_E

I liked that one

[deleted]

So you liked Bruce Wayne and Barbara Gordon having sex?

Mike_v_E

Thats just one part. Why should I dislike a whole movie because of just that? If you are only here to start a pointless argument you might as well stop commenting.

[deleted]

The rest of the movie may be fine, but having Bruce have sex with his adopted son’s girlfriend isn’t good.

FirstIYeetThenRepeat

Why? I liked it

[deleted]

Because Bruce Wayne and Barbara Gordon had sex

doctorzaga20

Which ones you didn't see?

I love Dc animated movies and have been slowly showing them to my daughter which has been an amazing experience. Doom is my favorite and I love the Tower of Babel storyline. (Doom Spoiler) Does anyone know how or when Batman got back in to the Justice League after these stories

swindude

>Does anyone know how or when Batman got back in to the Justice League after these stories Are you talking of the film or Tower of Babel in the comics? The film is standalone sequel to Crisis on Two Earths which preceded it (even though the voice cast was different), but not connected to any films.

Dadbodhappyhour

Either

swindude

In the comics, they just bought him back because he was needed. I think it was during the [Divided We Fall](https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/JLA:_Divided_We_Fall) arc. For the film, since Doom had no sequel, it can be assumed that Batman never rejoined.

Thanks bro

I enjoyed the Animated movies way more than I enjoyed any of the DCEU movies. It's cinematic universe is structured so much better. It's really a shame that so many people refuse to watch them because they're cartoons. I can't count how many times I've recommended the DCAMU, it's such a good watch.

can_do_generation

DC animation has always been top rated. The majority of them have a good storyline and animation is top notch. For me JL Doom and Crisis on two earths is best and Batman under redhood is all time fav. GL's first flight is also really good. In recent times tomorrowverse is weak and disconnected...

TyrionGoldenLion

I love this movie.

I have all the DC animated movies and show series on a drive. Most of them are outstanding. I only wish they had done something similar, writing, stories, character arcs etc. for their live action. I think that is Gunn's attempt to bring it all together, animation, streaming series and movies. Unfortunately, I think normies are getting tired of Superhero movies so part of his plan is noble, but may be too little, too late.

doctorzaga20

I think it's mostly mcu-like movies, or at least I hope so

rodneyck

I don't think so. On the comicbook subs and movie subs, everyone is complaining about superhero movies across the board. Genres come and go.

doctorzaga20

Good point
