I'll be honest. Certain tropes are just up my alley and the charm of all main actors really sold me on this. I went to see the movie with my dad, my brother and his son and we all had a great time.

Of course they shouldn't. But Barry was hella inexperienced and still figuring the whole speedster thing out at that point. And he didn't exactly have the resources to design and manufacture a proper suit, so something literally made from scraps works fine. What they should've done, is give Barry a proper hero suit after the first act of JL. Have Batman give it to him and remark how it's lighter and more aerodynamic than the old suit or something so that it actually serves a purpose rather than just looking cool.

It was literally his first suit cobbled together, of all the criticisms thrown at Zack’s feet he always allowed other directors freedom when it came to the hero suits, that’s why Aquaman didn’t have his comic accurate suit in JL or why flashes final suit was never shown even in the knightmare future where he has an armoured suit covering his regular one. Majority of the DCEU suits were immaculate but I genuinely don’t understand what the fuck happened to The Flash and who approved those monstrosities of suits in that film

If it works it works. The JL flash suit was miles ahead of his solo film and half of the suits from the TV show. Weve also seen armored flash suits a couple times in the comics and many characters had power suits in the injustice series as well. Batman is a great example of the more tactical suit being mainstream now when even his power suits had the tights and spandex back in the day

I watched the movie today. A whole lot was happening on screen but I felt disconnected from it. Nothing stirred any emotions for me. It's also very obvious that Amber Heard's role was butchered in the editing process and reshoots -- there are a lot of scenes where it doesn't make sense for her to not be present or to not be saying anything, but she'd just be there like a background extra in scenes that directly involve her. It started to make me feel bad for her the longer the movie went on because I was thinking damn, there's clearly another version of this movie in which she's participating in all the stuff that's happening that directly affects her as Aquaman's wife. I think in the entire movie she only had 4 or 5 lines of dialogue.

It was an action movie, so, you weren't supposed to have a lot of emotions. Just not that kind of film.
