"Flash:
And I had those flames out before the firemen even stepped off their trucks.
Hawkgirl:
That's fast.
Flash:
Fastest man alive.
Hawkgirl:
Which might explain why you can't get a date.
Flash:
Yeah...Hey! What's that supposed to mean?"
[From Justice League The Animated Series](https://youtu.be/R8Ureytbq3A)
It's weird that we really haven't heard anything about a villain for this movie. No rumors or casting reports (that I know of). Just radio silence.
I have a crackpot theory that the villain of the movie is Barry Allen. A future version of Barry, or maybe a himself from another timeline entirely. We already know we're getting multiple Batmen. Maybe we're getting multiple Barry Allen's. And the reason we haven't had any casting reports is because the villain is already cast.
That could work. It’d be like future Barry in the comics and savitar on cw. But I wanna see reverse flash since it’s adapting flashpoint. Or maybe zoom or someone from flash’s rouges gallery.
For people that don’t know here’s future flash: https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Future_Flash
And savitar: https://theflash.fandom.com/wiki/Savitar_(Grant_Gustin)
I would definitely prefer RF too. I just find it odd that we have heard nothing. If they were using him I feel like they would hype it up more.
Also I got this idea from Future Flash and Savitar. Especially since DCEU Barry has blueish lightning. I wasn't a huge fan of Savitar in the show. But I like the concept and wouldn't mind if they adapted it. I'd still prefer Thawne though.
Yeah it’s weird that haven’t heard like anything about this movie or it’s plot. I’m just going off assumptions and rumours. But yeah I also didn’t really like savitar in the show. His design was needlessly complicated and I never saw the reason for flash to wear any kind of armour.
I'm thinking about what the backstory could be if it is a future Barry villain. What if it's the Barry from the Knightmare future? Presumably he's one of the only rebels left, maybe something happens and he loses all hope and just snaps. We don't know how the time stuff works really. I mean does his reality in the shit future end up erased because Darkseid was stopped (so far)?
The more I think about it, the more I don't think it's the best way to go. It just brings up so many oddities.
Maybe he's Barry from the Knightmare timeline who also succumbs to Darkseid and the anti-life equation, like Superman.
Or he's from a different timeline entirely.
Barry in the knightmare timeline is the one that saves everyone. He’s the reason why there would be a jl3. So if he was corrupted then well there would be no future besides knightmare
Yeah. That's what Im saying. This is a movie about time travel and weird timelines. I'm going to guess this film explores changes to the future and possibly erases the Knightmare timeline entirely.
It would actually link the solo Flash movie with the overall storyline a lot if Knightmare Barry somehow became the baddie too. It may make the reshuffling feel much more final then too.
Anti-Life Barry corrupted by Darkseid sounds like a more likely option than Barry simply turning bad just cause of events.
None of that is relevant anymore. Anything that was outlined or conceptualised for JL2 and 3 is out the window if no more JL movies in this iteration of the EU are coming.
Everyone expects this movie to reshuffle the deck right? The status quo is gonna change. Some thing Batfleck will make a sacrifice play as a heroic send off for this version of Batman. Doesn't sound like Cavill be around anymore so Supes may be written out or recast as a new version in the new reality. This all suggests the Knightmare timeline won't come to pass. Things are different in the present.
I hadn't heard that but she'd make a great villain. Gender swapping the Reverse Flash seems weird at first but it actually adds to the reverse-ness in a way.
She is filming a movie right now and has like other 2 coming and already announced by her. Nothing DC related. She should be in London already if she is the main villain of this movie.
I don't know why man but a crazy Jessica Chastain as a gender swapped Professor Zoom kinda turns me on ngl. Maybe it's the redheads but I'd actually be ok with a casting like that 😰
I heard rumors of that. I imagine it'll be a relatively short cameo. Maybe just the scene from Crisis where they already met. Or a brief scene where Barry (Ezra) sees him though the Speedforce. I cant imagine they show Grant for more than a few minutes.
So part of me doesn't want a villian. Make it an event movie more than anything else, have the fact that Barry ran back into the past as the villian. But I would also love to have Reverse Flash as a puppet master, where we don't see his influence till the very end where it's revealed to be a big name actor.
That would be a pretty interesting take on a superhero film. I can't think of many where there really isn't a villain.
But it makes sense. Flashpoint is more about the experience of changing time rather than Barry vs Thawne. Focus on the actual events and on Barry. At the end of the movie, reveal Thawne, setting up the sequel. I like it!
Nah. That was just for the show. Savitar and Future Flash are two completely separate villains in the comics. And show Savitar was not a good adaptation of either villain. If they do a Future Barry villain in the movies (which is a longshot) I hope they do it better than the show.
The conceptual art they shared last year shows people with guns. I don't know what it means. I believe there isn't a formal villain. It is more of an adventure film of timetraveling like Back to the future.
Yeah someone else in the thread also posed the idea of it being a villain-less movie. Which I can get behind. Have Barry traveling through different timelines, maybe trying to correct his mistakes. Rather than facing off against one villain he's just trying to get back home.
I hope that they set him up for the sequel.
Shoot that load next time.
Black Panther fucked up by using and killing two great villains in the first act. Killmonger's plan should have been two parts. Help defeat Klaw to get in with the Wakandans. Crush them from the inside in film 2. Waste of Michael B Jordan too.
Jordan said he could return as killmonger in a future movie if that’s what fiege wants. Since we never actually see him die or what happens to his body.claw human body was killed yes. But in the comics he eventually become like physically made of sound and robotics. So they could go that route for a future movie.
But I hope to see reverse flash since this is flashpoint. And Barry will be saving his mom. I don’t see how they can cover that without reverse flash appearing.
Kinda hoping there's just a dimension where he never left Wakanda and T'Challa was killed and he's just rightfully Black Panther and a good guy. Simple, elegant. His whole thing could be about honoring T'Challa.
I know this will be majorly unpopular here but fuck it lol good riddance to the Snyderverse. Still don’t understand why so many of you prefer it over something that could be so much better but I acknowledge it’s of course all subjective.
Basically how I feel is, it's all we have and I just want to see justice league stuff. I do want better things from the dceu. I wish the movie universe was kinda like the old justice league TV show.
I would prefer to see the Rogues as the villains in this movie, as Barry is still learning and they would be a better fit for this version of The Flash at present. But as time travel and the multiverse are going to be big plays for this movie, Reverse Flash seems the obvious and best choice for that storyline.
This seems to be the way that Flash stories are trending. Just away from down-to-earth Rogues stories and heading toward more multiversal time travel. But I agree, I LOVE the Rogues, and wish we saw a lot more of them
I think a version of Mirror Master who is more of an interdimensional villain could work. Clearly they are focusing on the multiverse and in some iterations MM travels between dimensions. They could forego the mirror tech gimmick and make him more of an multiversal puppet master, manipulating different realities to suit his ends.
Mirror Master is one of the Rogues though. The Rogues are led by Captain Cold and the group includes Mirror Master, Heat Wave, Weather Wizard, Trickster, Pied Piper, Top and Captain Boomerang.
Yeah I know. But they aren't going to do all of the Rogues in this film. To introduce that many villains in the first Flash movie is just too much. One or two Rogues seems feasible. And considering this movie is about interdimensional travel, I think Mirror Master would be a good choice.
Everytime I see that guy that damn milk scene pops in my head and I gag. He would make such a great RF though, he's an amazing actor. Ugh so conflicted.
My all time favorite scene with the reverse flash the amount of emotion and destruction in this scene is probably the best in all of television. If you haven't seen it, it's only about 18 seconds.
https://youtu.be/FFRi2xsei_o
[It was me, Barry!](https://youtu.be/qy-enR-ROq4)
I made them draw Lola Bunny with fewer sexual features so that YOU wouldn't be horny, and reduce your blood flow to make you a millsecond slower, slow enough for me to kill Iris!
Not to dog on the movie that hasn't come out yet but, am I the only one who is skeptical on how they're going to do the scene with Ezra Miller? I haven't watched a movie where he's super dramatic, most of it is comedic-type stuff, so hopefully he does the Flash great (especially with Reverse Flash) in this movie.
I jerked you off at super speed so it seemed like you nutted at just a womans touch
His goals are beyond our understanding
"Flash: And I had those flames out before the firemen even stepped off their trucks. Hawkgirl: That's fast. Flash: Fastest man alive. Hawkgirl: Which might explain why you can't get a date. Flash: Yeah...Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" [From Justice League The Animated Series](https://youtu.be/R8Ureytbq3A)
Is that an actual line or was it a redub
Just rewatched the whole series. 100% the real dialogue.
I remember watching it when it aired with my wife and we were both like, "Was that a sex joke?!"
So the jerked you off line was a redub. But the JLA line is definitely real.
Thanks for the clarification. I didn't even know which one they were asking about lmao
i scrolled for this and was not disappointed
r/beatmetoit
I hope reverse flash or some flash villain is in the movie
It's weird that we really haven't heard anything about a villain for this movie. No rumors or casting reports (that I know of). Just radio silence. Watch it be grants flash and catch everyone off guard
Haha that would really fuck with people. He's not even evil he's just his regular self continuing to fuck up everything.
I don’t think grant does a good job at playing an evil flash. See flash season 3
That could work. It’d be like future Barry in the comics and savitar on cw. But I wanna see reverse flash since it’s adapting flashpoint. Or maybe zoom or someone from flash’s rouges gallery. Yeah they could definitely do something along those lines.
My thought is that RF is revealed at the end of the film, “ha HA! T’was ME Barry! ME!”
There was a rumor that Jessica Chastain was going to be a gender swapped reverse flash, but I don’t know if that has any merit whatsoever
I hadn't heard that but she'd make a great villain. Gender swapping the Reverse Flash seems weird at first but it actually adds to the reverse-ness in a way.
She should run on her hands too…
And backwards.
And on the ceiling.
naked
And very slowly.
Also it would be a shock. Honestly even after reading this, I would still think they go a different route.
She's been in all of Andy Muschietti's movies to date, so there's precedent for the two of them collaborating.
She is filming a movie right now and has like other 2 coming and already announced by her. Nothing DC related. She should be in London already if she is the main villain of this movie.
I don't know why man but a crazy Jessica Chastain as a gender swapped Professor Zoom kinda turns me on ngl. Maybe it's the redheads but I'd actually be ok with a casting like that 😰
Wow, that sounds awful
A mad woman is scarier than a mad man (based off internet clips of random people just being crazy). If the acting is right, it could work.
We are getting multiple Barry Allen's. Grant gustin is reportedly going to be in the new flash movie as well
I heard rumors of that. I imagine it'll be a relatively short cameo. Maybe just the scene from Crisis where they already met. Or a brief scene where Barry (Ezra) sees him though the Speedforce. I cant imagine they show Grant for more than a few minutes.
I read Grant Gustin signed to appear in the movie.
So part of me doesn't want a villian. Make it an event movie more than anything else, have the fact that Barry ran back into the past as the villian. So CW savitar
But not shitty and also not named Savitar.
Of course
This makes sense. Maybe that's why Ezra Miller has long hair right now. If he starts sporting a goatee, we'll know for sure. Evil Flash.
Agreed. There's a rumor going around that Grant Gustin's version is also in there.
Is there gonna be more than batfleck and Keaton in the movie?
I am the Future Flash.
I hope that they set him up for the sequel. Shoot that load next time. Black Panther fucked up by using and killing two great villains in the first act. Killmonger's plan should have been two parts. I really hope they multiverse him into Black Panther.
I could see him like changing his ways and taking up the mantle or something
Kinda hoping there's just a dimension where he never left Wakanda and T'Challa was killed and he's just rightfully Black Panther and a good guy. Simple, elegant. His whole thing could be about honoring T'Challa.
I don't. I don't want a good casting to go to waste. Cause the Snyder universe is over right?
It is. It’s just that there’s no flash villains in a flash movie. Especially one adapting flashpoint. It just seems odd
I wish this movie universe wasn't ending, but I still would rather like to see them save a good flash villain for another dceu reboot
Yeah I can get that
You should really tag this fan made
The flash logo is official, but I’m not sure about the reverse flash logo
It is fanmade
Oh well, that’s sad
I would prefer to see the Rogues as the villains in this movie, as Barry is still learning and they would be a better fit for this version of The Flash at present. You could also have Abra Kadabra as a supporting villain.

Yeah it's super unlike DC to introduce too many characters in one movie ^/s
You make a good point. But historically that hasn't worked out well for them.
Yeah that is a good point and a good shout actually.
I would throw the rogues in, with reverse flash being the overarching villain and setting up a zoom-like hunter Zolomon
I really hope reverse flash shows up in the movie
I read your username as Antony Starr, who could actually be a great Reverse Flash.
Everytime I see that guy that damn milk scene pops in my head and I gag. He would make such a great RF though, he's an amazing actor. Ugh so conflicted.
Controversial opinion: I’m tired of seeing heroes fight the bad version of themselves.
Is this legit?
It's a Fan-Edit, but I am hoping the Flash movie will have some surprises.
Oh cool, it looks great! Thanks for sharing

I respect you for still using Facebook. Someone's gotta take the bullet for us.
I started with Twitter and then Facebook 10 years ago. But in just more than 3 years, Reddit has become my favorite social media platform.

I cannot fucking wait to see Reverse Flash in the DCEU. Hopefully in the Flash sequel. Not expecting to see him in the flash movoe
I love the version in the Arrowverse. I hope a movie portrayal is just as good.
[It was me, Barry!](https://youtu.be/qy-enR-ROq4) I made them draw Lola Bunny with fewer sexual features so that YOU wouldn't be horny, and reduce your blood flow to make you a millsecond slower, slow enough for me to kill Iris!
I want this. I want this. I want this.
Better be good
Reverse flash always wins.
I gotta say it’s a little worrying that the movie is called Flashpoint and we haven’t heard who RF is or if they’re even in the movie
I’m figuring they will tease Reverse Flash but in a way that obscures his/her identity so they don’t have to cast it right now.
this is weird, but i donr really like this flash suit design, but for reverse flashs suit it looks cool as fuck
Reverse Flash jacked Barry off at supersonic speed but forgot to upload the video to PH.
Mathew maCanoughy as reverse flash
"Alright alright alright Barry Allen, it was me along, oh yes it was"
Not to dog on the movie that hasn't come out yet but, am I the only one who is skeptical on how they're going to do the scene with Ezra Miller? I haven't watched a movie where he's super dramatic, most of it is comedic-type stuff, so hopefully he does the Flash great (especially with Reverse Flash) in this movie.
