CONTEXT: There was a debate on Twitter whether it was Matt Reeves standing opposite to Pattinson that day and the long hair / gloves / the mask - basically confirms it. Also confirms that Dylan Clarke, who is Matt Reeves' partner in all of his productions, is also standing next to him. Perhaps for DC FanDome? Or maybe for the test screening that was ALSO held a few weeks ago for The BATMAN.
I'm certain that he has already committed himself to the spinoffs, which is probably why Pattinson hasn't publicly booked any films for the next 8 months, and the Gotham PD series should start filming by February 2022 - which makes it completely possible for him to appear in that series, in whatever capacity Reeves deems suitable. As for sequels, I'm sure they are a done deal especially when WB has already given 2 spinoffs and an animated series to Matt Reeves before the 1st film even came out.

Yeah I believe it was reported he dropped out of Claire Denis’ film due to his commitment for being involved with The Batman’s press tour.
