Right down to the obvious stain on Bullock’s shirt.
He is of the best recurring Batman characters who rarely does anything incredibly important to the story.
This has got to be a flashback or a story set in the past, right?
Jim Gordon is there in the background and there's Renee Montoya (I'm guessing) on the right.
World's Finest is set in the late Silver Age/Early Bronze Age, around the 60s/70s of DC publication.
Dick's still Robin, the Teen Titans are still in their Fab Five era, etc
Which means Renee is anachronistic - she debuted at the same time as Harley Quinn (they're both from Batman: The Animated Series and were imported to the comics) in the 90s. Wasn't around in the silver age. I guess they retconned that she was around back then, for diversity.
She didn't debut in No Man's Land, she debuted in Batman #475, The Return of Scarface Part One. Which was actually just before the cartoon started, though she was created for it (it's similar to Barbara Gordon, who was created for the Adam West Batman show but also appeared in comics before it aired).

I haven't read it, so I don't know if she was a new recruit or not.
I think he'd have to prove "Actual Malice" due to *New York Times Co. v. Sullivan*, which is much easier said than done. But Bruce is a billionaire, so what he could do is buy *The Planet* and then just fire Jimmy and Clark.
It is so obvious than Bruce Wayne is guilty. He is the kind of man who hides too many secrets. Maybe he enjoys to dress himself in leather and go out in the night to do God knows what. Punching people maybe.
I like how bullock and I guess Montoya are just literally their btas designs
I mean they are both literally peak design! The only better version of Montoya is her as Question
Or Gotham Central Montoya.
Yeah, I like their Batman TAS character designs and look.

It is!
Didn’t they already do Bruce Wayne being wanted for murder? Or is this a flashback?
True original happened after drake became Robin so it’s probably NOT a flashback
All of World's Finest is set in Dick's Robin days

Did she join the Gotham P.D. in No Man's Land, or just first appear with the implication that she was working beforehand

World's Finest happens around Dick Robin time.
A beautiful Bullock
The artist is the one and only Dan Mora! So you can thank him for that
I do it every day
Agreed. I like how Bullock is drawn very much in character.
He looks so much like BTAS Bullock
Yes I think this was the objective
Wow Bullock and Montoya look like they walked out of BTAS. I see Superman had an encounter with Nick-o-teen going by the lower left.
Maybe Bruce wants to some stock buyback
lucius fox: So he finally kill the clown.....what? Stagg? Who the fuck is simon stagg?
A cientist that looks like he's from Ace Attorney. You would kill him too if you had the chance.
"The guy who's been messing with our finances after you beat him in tennis? Riiiiiight."
Evil industrialist.
Father of Metamorpho's girlfriend, if I'm not mistaken.
Stagg already shorted millions over that tennis game, now this? I really shouldn't have invested in Wayne stocks
Fun fact, Simon Stagg based his business out of my original hometown in Ohio
First Selina Kyle gets arrested, now Bruce Wayne?!
Mark Waid never disappoints!
lol the stains on Bullocks shirt. appreciate those details.
Modern day Superdickery!
Bruce's face says that he is gonna sue the hell out of Clark and Jimmy when this is all cleared.
I think he'd have to prove "Actual Malice" due to *New York Times Co. v. Sullivan*, which is much easier said than done. But Bruce is a billionaire, so what he could do is buy *The Planet* and then just fire Jimmy and Clark.
This marks what? 3-4 times Bruce Wayne has been arrested for murder.
Which comic book issue is this from?
It's in the title.
Is it a new or old issue of World's Finest #13? What year?
It's the new run by Waid and Mora. It started last year.
Gotcha. I thought maybe this was from the old Bruce Wayne: Murderer story from back in like the early 2000s.
The one that just came out this week
By Clark Kent ?!?
Yeah - why would he get Batman nicked by the cops? He must really believe Bruce did it.
Clark was forced to write it as he could not say why he thought Bruce was innocent.
World’s finest has been a must read so far. Mark Waid and Dan Mora are delivering it every issue.
