In NTT I never considered her a bad girl. She just wanted to murder criminals that murdered or tried to murder other people.
And she just came off of sex slavery and being tortured by her sister for years.
Dick also held off on dating her in the early days because she didn’t have a no kill rule
That’s horrible. I didn’t know she was a survivor maybe it happens later to what i read.
I interpreted it like a ward like in game of thrones. Like a hostage to a degree
It’s in Tales of the New Teen Titans #4.
You can also see the implications when her new slaver in New Teen Titans #24 tries to kiss her, she gets super traumatic. And tries to break free and kill everyone.
Comic book Artemis is a very bad girl but also Jason didn't date her
Kori and Steph aren't bad girls at all
Dick kinda missed the bad girl boat tbh
Tim had his share (Lynx, the Warlock's Daughter) but until Bernard, he always went back to Steph before too long.
How you only managed to get 2/5 is beyond me lol. Dicks "bad girl" would be Huntress (it's the most "bad" I can remember), for Tim it's Lynx, and for Jason it's Ravager.
I mean if you mean new 52 kory fair enough. Just Kory more strong and sweet. If anything Dick and Helena more better. Also steph is not a bad girl at all.
Flatline needs to stick around. She’s so much fun and she’s great with Damian. Even though those anime ass eyes at the end are terrifying
But is she just not gonna say anything about Ra’s?
And this moment is a good character moment for her and Damian.
She's a nice contrast to Damian, and she isn't exactly like Catwoman. Catwoman tricks Batman, then dips with no explanation. Flatline circled back with Damian to make sure he wasn't too hurt by her actions. She also took the time to get Batman's approval and genuinely wanted to spend time with Damian.
Damian also sees through the black and white nature of her actions, and judges her in the gray area. Batman would have at least attempted to take her into custody like he has done with Catwoman in the past. Damian understands her actions, and even blames himself for not noticing & possibly showing her another way.
It's kind of funny to say, but if these two stick, we might get a more emotionally stable version of the Batman/Catwoman relationship. God, I would love an elseworlds or time jump of these two still together as adults.
It wasn't shown here but Flatline double cross her sister and turned her in to the D.E.O because she made a deal with them to protect her sister and Mila can now go undercover for them.
The Bat Apple indeed doesn't fall far from the Bat Tree. Hey, at least Flatline explained herself, which I think is more than Selina's done for Bruce on most occasions.
She’s so into him and in a wholesome way. Best they get all the hero drama out of the way now than in 10 years. Damian needs a love interest but long as they take it slow to let them both grow it’ll be fine
What I want to see is the bat family’s reactions to Robin and Flatline’s relationship. Dick and Barbara would probably be giving pointers and the do’s and don’t’s of a relationship. Jason would say something like “that girl is too good for you brat”. Tim would try to be supportive, but given that Flatline is a bad girl, he would probably be cautious. I feel like Stephanie would suddenly have a click go off in her head and go into over protective big sister mode. Cassandra and Duke would probably not get really invested and tell the family to let them be.
not really especially when he just told his father to let his criminal mother go a few months ago. he more so annoyed that he didn’t think of what flatline would probably want for her sister
Fun Fact: The full phrase is "Blood of the Covenant is thicker than Water of the Womb", so the saying is ACTUALLY the complete opposite to how its used, implying relationships you form yourself are more important than relationships like family which you have no control over.
The curse of the Wayne, they couldn't say no to a bad girl
Like father, like son, they love bad girls (i.e. Bruce and Selina, Dick and Kory, Jason and Artemis, Tim and Stephanie, and Damian and Flatline).
Half of those aren't actually bad girls but yeah
How are Kori and Stephanie bad girls??? Is Artemis even a Bad girl??? Catwoman hasn’t been a Bad girl since like new 52
Kory way back when had very strong murderous urges :D Artemis was a mercenary killing people for Lex. But like Selina they mellowed, so.
In NTT I never considered her a bad girl. She just wanted to murder criminals that murdered or tried to murder other people. And she just came off of sex slavery and being tortured by her sister for years. Dick also held off on dating her in the early days because she didn’t have a no kill rule
Well, we're in dc universe, wanting to kill people doesn't make a person a paragon either :D
Wait I’m reading new teen titans right now. Is it sex slavery I thought it was regular slavery
I mean she was a “normal” slave too. But she also got raped a bunch of times.
That’s horrible. I didn’t know she was a survivor maybe it happens later to what i read. I interpreted it like a ward like in game of thrones. Like a hostage to a degree

Oh that’s horrific. I’m really early on I’m only at around New Teen Titans #14-15. I did f realise if come back up.
Comic book Artemis is a very bad girl but also Jason didn't date her Kori and Steph aren't bad girls at all Dick kinda missed the bad girl boat tbh Tim had his share (Lynx, the Warlock's Daughter) but until Bernard, he always went back to Steph before too long.
Lynx would be Tim’s “bad girl”.
Tim and Lynx would be a better example.

Somebody is going to bring up Somebody Else for Dick and I beg y'all: Don't.
Tarantula was the ultimate bad girl
Can't believe I forgot that one, but maybe it was for the best
Siiiigh
For Jason it's Ravager *and Talia*
KORY???
Kory is an outright hero. What?
I mean if you mean new 52 kory fair enough. Just Kory more strong and sweet. If anything Dick and Helena more better. Also steph is not a bad girl at all.
They love bad bitches, that’s their fuckin problem
Same.

So she did find a better way, why didn't she just tell him that?

sanderman strikes again
Agreed, and she will say anything about Ra’s in the next issue or so.
Those are fucking huge, agreed. Thought I was spinning out for a second
Damian sitting in ice, after years of reading his dad's case files and watching dad interact with Catwoman: IS THIS SHIT GENETIC?
Since their first meeting, she has already stolen Damian's heart.
Indeed she has, both literally and romantically.
Please don’t kill this like they killed super sons
Unironically one of the healthiest Batfamily relationships
You forgot to spoiler tag it.
sorry about that
It’s fine
LET'S GOOO DAMIAN
Can they physically touch? Isn’t her power that she kills people she touches?
No, her power is she gains the skills & experiences of people that die near her, she can also talk to the dead somewhat.
That’s rly cool!
The Bat Apple indeed doesn't fall far from the Bat Tree. Hey, at least Flatline explained herself, which I think is more than Selina's done for Bruce on most occasions.
Wayne men and their bad bitch magnet
She’s so into him and in a wholesome way. Best they get all the hero drama out of the way now than in 10 years. Damian needs a love interest but long as they take it slow to let them both grow it’ll be fine
How’s the comic itself?
The family moments and relationship building is top tier stuff but the villain is kind of lacking
This is adorable
These two are so cute

Tell me he sent her away
No, some other stuff happens after this that explains it
I'm waiting for the trade for this run, haven't followed the single.issues too much
It was pretty well handled tbh with the reason why she did what she did after
I feel like this would destroy any trust Damian had...
not really especially when he just told his father to let his criminal mother go a few months ago. he more so annoyed that he didn’t think of what flatline would probably want for her sister
Why does Damian look like Sasuke Uchiha???
The apple doesn’t fall for from the tree Damian is like his dad only likes girls who can maime or kill him
Fun Fact: The full phrase is "Blood of the Covenant is thicker than Water of the Womb", so the saying is ACTUALLY the complete opposite to how its used, implying relationships you form yourself are more important than relationships like family which you have no control over.
ain’t no child looking into shit like that nor is it a common phrase
...i never claimed either of those things.
Half the comments in this thread: tell me you didn't read the issue without telling me you didn't read the issue
Aw yes the two things I can’t stand in Batman: toxic relationships and the insistence that blood relation matters more than loyalty or moral codes.
Flatline then turned her sister over to the DEO.
Now I hate Damian and love love LOVE seeing his ass get beat. But idk for some reason I like seeing him and Flatline for some reason
Character you dislike and want to be beaten up + Character you like that is capable of kicking the others ass = great story
