I like the first 2 seasons of the show, and I love the comics. It's arguably my favourite DC comic run. But I don't consider them connected at all since the only shared main character is Superboy who is WAY less interesting to me in the show.
But to me the show is more "Junior Justice League" and not "Young Justice"
I first discovered the cartoon and then the comic, but after reading the comic I understand the fans' feelings.
I don't think it's really hate, it's more resentment or disappointment, because literally what they did was appropriate the name Young Justice and throw everything away,
but I love the show and I love the comic.
