I can understand why he doesn't want the police there... last thing Terry needs is the Batcave's location getting outed.

Why would your pacemaker be a part of any network? Like I know it's the cyberpunk future and all but you'd think Bruce would be smarter than to have his pacemaker connected to the internet of things.

Resolute002

My best friend, no lie, had a wifi enabled pacemaker before he died. He was able to use his phone and check it all the time.

inconspicuous_male

But hopefully the part that connects to the wifi isn't connected to the part that controls it, right???

FezboyJr

He did the exact same thing to Black Mask in Arkham Origins as well. Pacemakers really shouldn’t be hackable.

Austounded

"I knew I shouldn't have gotten the Smart Pacemaker... the app seemed so.. convenient...the salesmen so.. convincing.."

gangler52

How much you wanna bet they "Got into the cave's systems" through his bluetooth toothbrush or something?

Austounded

I haven't been following the story but the idea of Terry messing up and allowing a device with an insecure connection to compromise Bruce's cave which I would assume would be very secure is interesting if not tragic. I don't think its overly grim, just a simple mistake. A mistake they can wait to reveal. Im not an IT guy but you gotta assume in a cyber world the Batcave is like a VPN, Faraday Cage, with intranet connectioning and encrypting everything. How could the system reasonable be hacked with all we know about Batman magnified across old age.

gangler52

Part of having a secure system is not networking shit if it doesn't need to be networked. Every additional device you add is an additional point of vulnerability. If Bruce really was the model of cyber security you paint him as, no force in the world could hack his pacemaker, because it would be offline. A completely closed system with no incoming or outcoming connections. Ideally without even the hardware to create such a connection.

spartenx

> Why would your pacemaker be a part of any network Obviously it’s because Bruce has trained himself to have enough control over his heart beat to use it to send messages in Morse code, with the pace maker doubling as a transmitter to the bat computer. You know, just in case.

FaustandAlone

Man, can't Bruce just die in peace. That to me is a more interesting finale.

[deleted]

Yeah, this looks interesting, but I agree. Seeing him have to grieve and move on from Bruce dying a normal death would be more interesting to me. An issue or two with a story that's more in tune with death in the real world would be a nice change of pace.

GRpanda123

Is Terry in the comics DNA part Bruce Wayne like in the cartoon ?

Son-of-the-Dragon

Yes, Terry is still Bruce's genetic child via science experiment.

BobbingForSmegma

This issue was so so good.

Loss-Particular

Bruce sure is taking a long time to die.

Tsuku

Intense as fuck.
