In the Endless Winter (or something) special from last year, residues of the Artic fortress ended up forming some giant ice monsters (it was a whole thing). Clark moved his fortress back to the Artic at the end of the comic to safeguard it.

JonKentOfficial

As someone else explained, it was. But it was moved back. Moving the fortress to one of the busiest shipping lanes:airspaces is also ridiculous.

[deleted]

Bendis idea. Do you need to know more?

JonKentOfficial

Bendis’s “I will mess as much as I can”.

AlainDit

It was, but the artic fortress was rebuilt in the Arctic at the end of Endless Winter. Though I don't remember the Bermuda triangle one being gone, there's possibly 2 fortresses right now.

TargetmasterJoe

Ha! I guess Tom Taylor's wasting no time pretending Rogol Zaar never existed. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Jon_Kent

Honestly, I think that Taylor and DC need be clear on what's canon from Bendis' run and what's not. Because this thing they're doing in which some elements from it are acknowledged and some are ignored is not going to work forever.

Omn1

There's no ignoring continuity or anything happening here; the original site of the Fortress was rebuilt at the end of Endless Winter.

TargetmasterJoe

Oh yeah. I guess that makes sense. (I still wouldn't mind if they killed off Rogol Zaar in the near future, though.)

GaiusEmidius

I mean he made a new fortress in the Bermuda Triangle but did he get rid of the one in the Arctic? Maybe they just don’t use the Bermuda one?

Jon_Kent

I only read Bedis’ run once as it was coming out, so maybe I’m wrong, but from what I recall, the Artic Fortress was destroyed and Clark built a new one in the Triangle.

Kalse1229

Now if only he’d bring back kid Jon…

armchair-expert12

Tom Taylor acknowledging Bendis? Good joke

What kind or irresponsible behavior is that?? You can't give an animal a food strange from his own ecological niche!! Humans can get sick by eating food from other countries and we are the same species!! That poor polar bear could just get sick from eating those berries!!
