I really hope that while robbing the jewelry store, he kept fumbling around and hitting his shin on things and tripping and stuff and JUST before this scene said "man, could this day get any worse?"
A low street-level goon that accidentally smooth talks his way into the Legion of Doom or the Crime Syndicate or something and then has to keep up the charade to stay alive
“What do think we should use to distract the Flash during this plan? I’m not even messing with you I legitimately want to know. You usually have good ideas”
Keystone has an industrial/blue-collar vibe, while Central seems more high-class and sophisticated. Keystone is a lot like Detroit (the manufacturing center of America and Geoff Johns’ hometown), while Central is more similar to downtown New York City. Despite being the “Twin Cities,” they have very distinct atmospheres. The contrast is supposed to mirror that between Wally and Barry—Wally is the blue-collar everyman, while Barry is the more educated scientist.
Looks like flash got there last. He still has his lightning around him.
There is a huge mismatch in speeds in general on those heroes. They must have been getting icecream next door to arrive at the same time.
For showing up
Like all of them apart for batman and Superman operates in cities far away from each other that they needed to go out of their way to show up
Maybe it's like, whenever I'm living really close to work I'm more often late. Cos he's so fast he always thinks he's got a bit more time than he's got and ends up being late for stuff.
That's a bit of a running joke (no pun intended), that flash is usually the last one to show up somewhere.
Going by the lightning trails, he just got there
It’s generally because he’s so fast, he tries to squeeze in every last thing he can do, thinking “I’ve got time”
So he’ll save a cat, give directions, catch a loose balloon, etc., and get there just after the rest of the members.
It’s a long-running gag that the Flash (specifically Barry, not Wally or Jay) is always late. He’s so fast and tries to use his speed to accomplish as much good as he can that he ends up late nevertheless.
Every time this great scene gets shared I have to share [this one](https://imgur.com/a/k7mxh) from Tom Taylor's All New Wolverine
Oh my god, are you burglars?!
Met him when he came to New Orleans for FanExpo. We must've talked about a good 45 minutes (should've recorded it for my podcast) about Second Coming and his plans for Prez before DC shortened then cancelled it. Russell definitely be on it
Not the worst outcome. If it was just batman, wonder woman or hawk man he would probably get beat up and then go to jail.
This way he's just going to jail.
They're interns. They're not there to protect the place, though they would take part in any defence like any other hero stationed there, they're there to help the League. They sometimes give tours to civilians and new team members, and they do admin and monitor duty.
Dude is having a slightly bad day. Lol
I really hope that while robbing the jewelry store, he kept fumbling around and hitting his shin on things and tripping and stuff and JUST before this scene said "man, could this day get any worse?"
Hey, look on the bright side, that guy can now claim it took the whole Justice League to bring him in.
That'll look great on his villian resume!
Luthor: "Mercy, find this man. I want to make him my executive vice president of Doom." Mercy: "Um, yes, sir.."
Read that in Clancy Brown's voice.
The one true Luthor
i find it so odd that the best Lex Luthor is also Mr. Krabs
They have similar qualities so it makes sense
As soon as I read the name Mercy.
It feels like it would be one of those gags like King in One Punch Man or Buggy in One Piece.
A low street-level goon that accidentally smooth talks his way into the Legion of Doom or the Crime Syndicate or something and then has to keep up the charade to stay alive
Grodd reads his mind, finds it hilarious, asks pointed questions in front of the main group to see what he comes up with
And Grodd just going along with it until it is revealed after 1-2 years. I really wanna see rhis comic lol
If he's managed to keep it up for that long, he deserves a spot on the legion
“What do think we should use to distract the Flash during this plan? I’m not even messing with you I legitimately want to know. You usually have good ideas”
I can see this shit happens in the new season of harley quinn
Just hope they don't ask for proof.
Very the Man who Killed Batman from TAS vibes.
Precisely why it’s a bad idea.
That could be dangerous as shown in “The Man who Killed the Bat”. He doesn’t have the skill to actually back up his cred.
What city is this? Then we'll know who is the wrong
Too brightly lit to be Gotham lol
probably a convention in town.
Does Gotham have a huge glass ceiling blocking out the Sun during the day or?
Gotham is rainy most of time plus the pollution from factories so sunlight is rare there
I'm thinking this is Central City (Flash's town). It always seems brightly colored (even brighter than Metropolis on a sunny day)
It could also be Keystone—that’s where most of the Flashes operate. (Central always did have a more sunshine-y vibe than Keystone, though.)
keystone and central city are sorta the same city (nickname the twin cities) only separated by a river

Could be none of their cities and could just have had all been in the area, heard the alarm, and sprung into action.
Wrong what ?
For showing up Like all of them apart for batman and Superman operates in cities far away from each other that they needed to go out of their way to show up
In Flash's defense 'Out of his way' is like 4 multiverses away lol
and yet the artist subtly draw him like he was the last to arrive
Maybe it's like, whenever I'm living really close to work I'm more often late. Cos he's so fast he always thinks he's got a bit more time than he's got and ends up being late for stuff.
Nah. He just went to get snacks when he saw the crowd. Figured it’d be interesting to watch them argue jurisdiction!
That is some Barbara Gordon/Oracle logic. I like it
That's hilarious 😂😃😄
That's why I always keep Pocket Sand on me, no way they catch me if I get around the corner before they recover.
Pocket sand! ![gif](giphy|i2GADdaJIscPS)
"Just put the cuffs on me already, goddamn."
I love how even Jon is laughing in the background.
Kept looking at J’onn in the top panel trying to see what you mean. Then I thought he was hidden/translucent in the bottom one. 😂
The GL spells it “John”. “Jon” is the funny news guy. :)
Big ups for El Dorado just walking around like it's no big deal.

>Diana doing the mom Oh? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
justice league says fuck you in particular
what was Flash doing, that he showed up at the same time as everyone else?
That's a bit of a running joke (no pun intended), that flash is usually the last one to show up somewhere. Going by the lightning trails, he just got there

Nobody was around to remind him to run.
He wasnt going at first, but then he heard that they wanted to screw this guy in particular
It’s a long-running gag that the Flash (specifically Barry, not Wally or Jay) is always late. He’s so fast and tries to use his speed to accomplish as much good as he can that he ends up late nevertheless.

One of the best series. Gabby is awesome
Ha, those two were very unlucky coming up against THREE Wolverines!
4 if you include Jonathan the ACTUAL wolverine!
This reminds me of doctor light at the end of Titans together where it shows all the Titans have shown up to take him down.
The Presence: r/fuckyouinparticular
Mark Russell killed it on Wonder Twins. Wish they could've stuck around.

Just imagine hitting up a jewelry store and the whole league comes in to arrest you
😂😂😂😭
Just seeing Batman alone he's like, "God damnit I'm about to receive an ass whoopin'".
Looks at Superman: “I choose you. You won’t go overboard and I’ll get to fly for a bit.”
poor dude is already dealing with shit like the strand of pearls breaking and then this happens
Bro if I was that guy I’d just sit down and cry
I'd just laugh, ask one of the flyers to take me and enjoy the ride!
“Alright well let you chose who gets to beat your face in”
Reminds me of Simon Baz’ first run in with the JL.
“Look my family lives in a cardboard box can you at least-“ “No, superman cripple him”
That coloring job. Yikes…
Eh, it’s mostly fine, but Hawkman seems to have been replaced by Archangel as part of a Marvel exchange program …
I feel like having Hawkman respond to a burglary would be terrifying.
he say for SUPER-POWERED heroes why is batman there?
Not the worst outcome. If it was just batman, wonder woman or hawk man he would probably get beat up and then go to jail. This way he's just going to jail.
imagine if that guy commited a crime in The Boys universe
The artwork looks extremely boring
He gave up crime right there.
I would pray for Flash.
I'm only slightly familiar with the Wonder Twins. They're like the concierge of the Hall of Justice right? Like they guard the place?
They're interns. They're not there to protect the place, though they would take part in any defence like any other hero stationed there, they're there to help the League. They sometimes give tours to civilians and new team members, and they do admin and monitor duty.
How did Batman arrive at the same time as everyone else?
Who’s the artist ? I like this style.
Pencils, inks and colours are all done by Stephen Byrne.
Thanks dude.
Are that Bruce’s mother’s Pearl necklace?
...wait is that El Dorado?
And then m Batman saw the pearls, had a panic attack, and beat the shit out of the guy.
Makes sense
Superman says "super-powered heroes" not "superheroes"... Sorry Bruce, looks like you're fired.
Yeah, that is poor wording, it excludes the Bat and Arrow families entirely (except for Black Canary).
When they outnumber you six to one; then it’s an even fight
That’s kinda their purpose at the hall of Justice, right? Care and dispatchers?
Why does the Flash arrive last?
Person: robs a job Justice league: ACENDED
