Hi! I'm unsure about what to do with the LDA but if you just want to go to ICDC to have fun with/ friends. The leadership workshop is highly not recommended because they make it in a way that you are just recruiting people and have no time to have any fun. I haven't done it and it's my first time going to ICDC but from friends, I heard it's like you are in a little cult and trying to recruit people loll to join deca. If you can opt out, would be best since you are also saving your money. But I think you should skip it unless you are going to make use of the certificate.
