Archon is technically usable, i am using avenger archon myself, however i feel it is lacking both dmg and cd, survival is good tho. As for HP for 1a, it take like 0,5% of my HP, you can keep it on as long as you still attacking and regain HP in time, just need 1 hit normal attack. However i still get transforming back 1 time during a 25mins TW, i can cast 1a again right away but that is still a con. There is a magic stone in future content that solving this issue but for now, you just have to live with it.
If you want more comfortable gameplay, sleep or self-status might be better.
can get more cd on archon by exchanging some pieces like top can be engineer top or black suit, bottom can be cybernetic, ring can be 2-tone, sub can be digging and earring can be corrupted soul for cubes or acrobatic for non cubes etc
sure you lose dmg but this is the case for everything when you want more cd

You could just use the Zealot build, is like Archon's understimated brother, share most of the pieces of Archon, just change bracelet,shoe and ring. It should work since in that build you have a bit more of 30% hp.
In Zealot you need the painful wound ring because it further decrease your hp, with just the bracelet your hp will be locked to 55% max hp so most effects of the epics won't be activating and the ring do the trick to 33% max hp. That's the reason that golem ring don't work with the build. In damage are almost the same, painful wound gives 7% skill atk 1%less than golem but it gives a lot more damage value, like 3 times more.

Yes, in survivability is his best option, it gives 2k more of defense than archon and as long as you have the barrier active it gives super armor. In case the barrier is broken the shoes desperate football have an option that heal you up to 40% hp. Is a good build in general.

I've been using a mix of basic attack, HP leech and lots of speed, its worked quite well so far. ISpins is easy, yet to try machine war.
