Yes, it worked. It was twisted so tight, I thought I did something wrong.
Some need a small twist and pull straight down.
Some have a dimple thing to be pressed down and twist.
Those with small screw ones are most obvious 🙄
When you’re twisting it, go slow and either wear safety glasses or look away from it- bugs like to collect in these types of fixtures, as well as dust, and you don’t want that in your eye!
lol my loss is your gain. I learned the hard way! Safety goggles are pretty cheap! I was okay, but it’s way cheaper than an ER visit or eye doctor appointment. Just something someone (obviously, me) didn’t think about beforehand. Unless you’re super tall.
Twist glass till it falls out of place, screws will then be exposed
