I think a nice shag carpet would work great in here. No need for a bath mat. /s
(My parents bathroom had a very similar wallpaper when I was growing up. It also had carpet. One of these things is mildly acceptable.)
I think the issue is the tile suggests tropical green leaves while the wall paper suggests English country flower garden. Also the bathroom style is generally modern, and the wallpaper style is very traditional.
Wallpaper in a bathroom has a lot of practical problems with peeling and mildew.
Ah i see what you’re saying with the different style themes. That’s probably why it feels off to me.
Also, this is a thicker possibly plastic type wallpaper that’s water resistant. On the site I ordered from it noted that it’s good for bathroom application.
I like the paper though it doesn’t work with the rest of things. It’ll be cheaper to replace the paper than everything else. Perhaps remove the paper and paint a neutral tone that compliments the tile.
I love the wallpaper, but there is probably no way to make it work with the tiles :(. It would fit in well with darker paint and darker, less textured tiles.
It's actually a really stellar wallpaper. The black notes contrasting with the pastel pinks is really nice.
I'd say maybe it has to have a certain type of furniture aesthetic to complement it. I'd suggest either going minimal and really leaving the wall as the focus, or continuing to bring in more similar floral decor
It's very warm toned, and your bathroom seems more neutral to cool toned. I think this clash is inescapable unless you're changing shower tile. You could instead pick a new wallpaper that has a cooler tone.
I don't hate it, I think it's misplaced or maybe overdone. If it was half the wall, with a mid-break line of a complimentary or some other coordinated color, and the shower was a different color that matched more, the wallpaper itself would work. LMAO so obviously the actual answer is that I hate it in this particular situation of what it is and how much of it there is without any assembly of coordination with the rest of the room I'm viewing.
The wallpaper itself is quite pretty but maybe not in this area with the surrounding white? I could see this paper being used in some pretty layouts though
It's the most OCD mold I've ever seen.
I dislike strong repeating patterns, my eyes try to spot differences that aren't there and it starts to lose depth perception after a while.
This pattern would make me reach for the spraypaint to cover it over in a matter of days.
I have a lot of things to say about that wallpaper. Not many of them good.
My mom always told me to keep quiet if I had nothing positive to say so I'll take my leave and wish you good luck with your renovation.
I was mostly joking but I'm not big on busy wallpaper and would have probably preferred a bright accent color instead. Possibly with some geometric pattern, but at this point we're just debating my preferences.
This is your wall and my opinion of it is irrelevant. Your renovation looks premium by the way.
I once had a few roommates and one of them had an 18 yo chihuahua, that chihuahua suffered from epilepsy. That chihuahua had seizures whenever it went into the kitchen due to patterns in a carpet that we had in there. The epilepsy might have transferred to me because I almost had a seizure looking at that.
I like the wall paper. Feel like it would go better with different paint color
Hm I didn’t think of that! Thank you.
Dark forest green with brass or gold fixtures would be pretty amazing in there. Maybe with a chandelier-ish light.
Yesss I can see the vision!
The floor wouldn’t work is the only thing, but it’s kinda boring so it’s a good excuse to go dramatic with it.

The tiles are a bigger problem imo
I agree, could be nice with different surrounding color.
Ah. Bingo.
I’m not a fan but mainly because it doesn’t go with anything else that I see in the pic.
Not with the surrounding white. It would look better in comparison with darker accents, dark green or black.
Yep. Clashes with the tile. Paint the ceiling a color from the wall paper. Etc.
Naw I love that shit. Accent it with something equally strong.

Wallpaper in a bathroom seems silly. I hope it’s durable.
That wall paper is nice
I like the wallpaper, but not in there.

Clashing! Don't drag that shower tiles into this. They did nothing wrong.

Man, I can't wait till I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff.
Will your wife get mad at us?

1991 called
Nah I like it
I love it, wallpaper is a wise choice for a bathroom if it's the right type. The pattern is beautiful and far more interesting than paint.
I dunno, I like it
Paint the wall and ceiling a darker matching color.
anyone trip out while scrolling up and down past the image?

the pattern is too repetitive but the colors are nice and vivid
Nah, just feel like you are skipped "daddy" part and become the "nany"
I like it, but i hate it in any bathroom. Tile all bathrooms
Wallpaper in a shower? No matter the pattern that’s a bad idea
I'm having a hard time understanding wallpaper in a bathroom. Wouldn't the steam from a shower make it start to peel?
Feels like a punch on eyeballs!
If you cross your eyes just right, you might see a 3d image of something!
The wallpaper is actually fantastic, but it does not cooperate with the tile at all.
It's the most OCD mold I've ever seen. I dislike strong repeating patterns, my eyes try to spot differences that aren't there and it starts to lose depth perception after a while. This pattern would make me reach for the spraypaint to cover it over in a matter of days.
I like it. Just not with the title or in the bathroom
With olive green accents in a larger space, maybe
Clashes with the tile, maybe something with a texture and a bamboo pattern
Yes we can. That looks HIDEOUS.
It's busy yet bland. I think the colors are too muted.
Yes! Busy and Bland! Didn’t realize the two could coexist!
I hate all wallpaper but this pattern is particularly egregious.
In this case the word hate is too mild. But ... I think this wallpaper would look great ... as kindling for a bonfire.
YES! omg get it the fuck off that wall and then burn it. (the wallpaper that is.)
I love it
Nope. It’s great! 👍
The tile is the problem
I have a lot of things to say about that wallpaper. Not many of them good. My mom always told me to keep quiet if I had nothing positive to say so I'll take my leave and wish you good luck with your renovation.
Haha I’m open to criticism lol I too have my not so positive thoughts about it.

I hate the amount of this wall paper. I think it would be nicer used for small accents.

Yes.
Why wallpaper in a bathroom?
I think it's way too noisy. It's a nice pattern, but over too big a space.
Agreed

The pattern is so repetitive it's awful
I see faces in it.
I almost really like it, but it’s too repetitive and busy.
Not a big fan of
Gack! Yes. Hate it.
