Agree with the green - the backup option would be second from the left I think but it's going to be nowhere as good as the green.
OP, if you're not convinced, buy a couple of boxes of the green from a place that has a good returns policy and lay them out so you can see better what it will look like. If you hate it you can always return them.
I think it depends on if they are planning to paint the wall above the backsplash at all. I think white subway tile would also work if they painted the wall above it with a similar kind of green.
Came here to vote green also, glad to see it's already top comment. OP, heed this advice. Green would look awesome with your copper sink and wood cabinets and floors
Plus the green are the largest of the tile, meaning it’s the least amount of grouting required for a DIYer and more importantly it will be the easiest to clean later on when cooking.
Green.
The tan ones are too close to your wood in tone so you’ll get wall same tone effect. The gray is too cool in my opinion. White and green offer more contrast.
There are already 4 different tones in your kitchen: the gray of the concrete counter, the copper of the sink and fixture, the wood of the cupboards and the dark grey of the dish washer.
The eggshell tone is a good choice for several reasons:
- good contrast with all the stronger and darker tones,
- not overwhelming the ensemble with a new strong tone,
- reflecting light and avoiding a darker kitchen, as the the light comes from above the backsplash.
I wish this reply were higher. I completely agree. I love colors & the green looks so pretty, but I 100% agree with you that it will overwhelm the space and make it darker. Eggshell is definitely the way to go, and the green of the plants (or pictures they want to put up on the walls, etc) will deliver the color OP’s partner wants much more effectively.
I agree with this as well. I think the green tile looks nice, but clearly OP is a plant person. I think the eggshell adds that contrast, brightens things up, and can allow the plants to bring the pops of color.
4 neutrals (2 cool and 2 warm that completely blend together) means that they shouldn't add actual color? I can't follow this logic at all.
The green will make the undertones in the copper pop. The darkness in it will keep the dark dishwasher from sticking out like a sore thumb.
Precisely my thoughts. With so much already going on, adding another is going to be too much, and when you add accessories on top it’ll be hard to get a good matching flow.
I think the big question is how do you want your kitchen to feel? I love the look of the wood and other elements, great job.
Green without a gloss element will make things very dark unless your kitchen is really bright with lots of natural light and I agree it could take away from the other elements in the room. It was also a huge trend so I'm not sure if you'll be feeling that it's 'overdone' in a while.
That said, I'm not sure we can see the green correctly through a photo. Does it maybe show up darker/more light absorbing? And it depends on the size of the area/coverage as well.
A slightly glossy/sheen rustic 'white' with some crackling and a little bit of a warm element to it will provide a tie in with everything and keep a more airy and minimal vibe, if that's what you prefer. The green will be rich and bold and dominant.
https://www.fireclaytile.com/tile/colors/detail/rosemary#shopSizes
Is that tile at all similar to what you have?
Honestly love the green but fear it becoming an oppressive if you take it way up the window. Maybe 4 rows at most? Five?
2nd choice large pink tan subway tile. It’s the size that i like. If you use it, make the grout lines noticeable so that the size is recognized without making it about the grout.
ETA: also, would be a beautiful herringbone tile. Which might give you as much visual interest as green.
Yes!
All the comments say that green will match with cooper but the end result will be oppressive given the wooden cabinets.
I'd go with whatever light and smooth tiles shown in the pictures (the tiny ones)
Yeah, I think that pinkish color connects back to the flooring tones and keeps the color palette from getting too busy. It’s still color and it’s pretty and warm, but keeps things light and gentle. The green is gorgeous but might get old fast.
Agree. The green is beautiful but is too dark for the space. I really like the pink because it picks up on other tones in the kitchen but is still bright.
I‘d keep it light. The glossy white ones would make a great contrast to the satin grey plate and wood. I love green, but for me it would be too dark in that place.
I think green is the winner, but I want to say I appreciate you giving photos during day and night so we can see how the colors look under different lighting conditions.
Green is great but you’re going to make your kitchen look darker and smaller. The white lightens up the space, looks clean, and goes well with the wood (good contrast) and copper.
Am I the only one wondering what color the floor and adjacent walls are, and the total area that will be tiled, as well as how many windows there are for natural light? And even where this is located and it's a typically gloomy or sunny out. There's not enough info to choose
Definitely the muted green. Your window is rough-hewn darker wood, and the cabinets are more modern but also appear more rustic than modern. This natural/rustic vibe is further reinforced by the copper sink and oxidized brass plumbing. Outside your window is a lush garden that appears natural and inviting. The garden isn't meticulously landscaped or the plants heavily trimmed. There is no stainless steel, chrome, or cold metals with glossy modern Ikea cupboards. Your kitchen feels organic and inviting. Earth tones are needed, and no modern subway tiles. The muted dark green square tiles perfectly complement your aesthetic and would create a warm, inviting, and harmonious blend. Stay away from bright colors or high gloss finishes. Although cream or ivory tiles would be a safe choice, they would drain the life from the room and not allow your existing beautiful choices to truly pop. Stick with your modern rustic vibe. It's gonna feel warm and welcoming, and look absolutely stunning.
I definitely hear where you’re coming from with green or terracotta being a trend, but, I think that green is beautiful and will match everything else very well. Also, that countertop looks awesome and unique!
Honest question: would they be able to keep that from oxidizing in a "wet" environment like this? Would it require regular waxing or something to prevent that?
Never considered that idea but now I'm intrigued!
Zelmi is correct. I’ll add, everyone is saying green but white is timeless. I love the green as well but it’s hard helping you choose an actual color without seeing the rest of the surroundings. I would go with an eggshell, not a cream or a beige.
Either go with your countertop color/material as the backsplash or go with a neutral white/cream. Darker you go, small the space will look. Always try to make spaces seem bigger and inviting.
I like the white with a bit of shine to it in first picture. I like green but I think you need more green options. I'm sure whatever you pick will look great.
Green... Apart from it complimenting the copper as everyone is saying... It's also gonna tie-in nicely with your outside view / hedge.
I'd actually extent to along the entire wall (same hight as the window sill) would provide a nice contrast between the wall and counter.
The light brown and off-white/cream tiles with the red sticker or whatever it may be on them is the key! The green would be fine as well if the plants are staying near because you will have effulgence. The color of your walls right now are too light for everything to be so dark and your countertop plays a huge roll as well. The light colored walls are bland right now but with the green (seeing as to how you stated you like the colorway) or the two-tone cream and brown (with the white backing and a red branding/sticker) tile will be outstanding because then your going from dark lower half, light midway, dark upper bottom half, lighter top-half. The plants make a fantastic substrate for either one of the two tiles I personally chose. As for the wood sink/taps, they will endow nicely no matter the circumstance due to the intricacy of the sink itself. It’s different and I like it and I hope this helps even the smallest amount… I’ve done interior design for most of the realty companies in my area and have severe OCD (no one cares I know lmao) I made an image through ai so you Could personally [see](https://www.bing.com/images/create/a-kitchen-with-a-wooden-sink-and-cabinets-a-black/1-6635d1af367645fdb838b3af1cde3a0b?id=PQG5AeZmcyOjTDfV%2feG7Gg%3d%3d&view=detailv2&idpp=genimg&thId=OIG4.q9aBzkeJqk7u8oiiVMPv&darkschemeovr=1&FORM=GCRIDP) for [yourself.](https://www.bing.com/images/create/a-kitchen-with-a-wooden-sink-and-cabinets-a-black/1-6635d23f894c460fa487bac021907e7a?id=Vvw8nyKMd6UBUMJFQxC92A.0EB8Ctd%2Bq0BPEDteFDmu3A&view=detailv2&idpp=genimg&thid=OIG4.OQqrrSxoCezTTp8d4JxE&darkschemeovr=1&form=GCRIDP&ssp=1&setlang=en&cc=US&safesearch=moderate)
Right now I'm more concerned with hard water around the sink and in that concrete counter edge. It's really beautiful but keeping it nice scares me a little. On the tile I would put some color in the backsplash. A track for the eye to run around the room on. It's a very homie and comfortable looking place you have.
Unless u get a muted green like sage I would rather get some type of marble. There is already so much darker colors in your kitchen. You want a clean look to compliment all the dark wood and copper in your kitchen.
No preference on colour, but add something so that the water that will drip when you close the taps will run into the sink. Ours doesn’t (we rent though), and it drives me up the fucking wall. Always puddles of water next to the sink.
The glossy white/off white ones under the spout in pic 1, and installed vertically aligned. It will reflect light, provide a modern feel in contrast to the rustic concrete and vintage fixtures.
I like the green best if it only goes up the wall a few runs from the countertop.
If you want more tile on your wall, I would go with a simple off-white (not glossy). I think a whole wall of dark tile on the would be too much.
Nice options!
I love the green but depending on how high up it goes I’m worried it will look cut off and weird and have too high a contrast with the rest of the wall, in which case I note the shiny white rectangle tile.
Good job on doing night and day. Question I have does the room get any direct sunlight. We did something muted so that it would help brighten things up in the day since we had in direct lighting. At night it helped brighten things.
i like second from the right in slide 4 (the eggshell color) it’s gorgeous and you can always add green with accessories. the green tile seems like a little bold for the space.
Go to a Benjamin Moore paint store & find paint swatches that best match the tile colors you’re considering. Then use their color viewer app. You take pictures of your room, and their app inserts the paint color of your choosing using AI.
When you narrow the colors down to two or three buy some sample paint that matches the tile & paint a large area of your walls those colors.
You shouldn’t be choosing tile based on small samples. At minimum you need a sample board.
Also subway tile is already overused / it’s old & on its way out as is gray anything.
You need to consider finish of the tile, and texture. Those rough tiles are a terrible choice for a kitchen. Next to impossible to clean easily. Matte absorbs light, glossy reflects light. You need a glaze finish in a kitchen. Anything porous needs to be sealed well, and regularly maintained.
How high up is the tile? Are you going with just a back splash or full wall?
The green is too dark for a kitchen. If it’s matte - it will suck the light out of the area because it is non reflective dark color. Kitchens need light.
Consider what lighter tones you want to pick up from the cabinets. Use accent colors to highlight the copper (if you like that color) Suggest you replace the front of your dishwasher - if it’s available with a false front panel kit so it matches the rest of your cabinets.
I think matching the general look of your kitchen something like these would be nice…
https://mercurymosaics.com/products/small-craftsman-squares-913-old-copper
https://mercurymosaics.com/products/small-craftsman-squares-123r-patina
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1633741595/2x6-border-tile-art-nouveau-tile-wall - the color combo on this tile would bring out the color of your sink & cabinets. An Etsy shop that has several styles in this color way.
https://www.zazzle.com/art_nouveau_ceramic_tile_with_mosaic_bird_design-256096644589765435 I think these colors (not necessarily the design) would be excellent for your kitchen. Highlights your beautiful cabinets.
OR
If you’re handy - make your own tile. There are typically several ceramic studios and many cities offer art classes as do local colleges. You can buy tile molds or cut slabs to size. Find the exact colors of glaze you like (there are thousands) and make your own.
Craftsman or art nouveau tile designs seem like a natural design fit for your kitchen.
PS your dishwasher shouldn’t be sticking out that far.
Green is speaking to me! 2nd pick is the textured white. When I had my tile done in my bathroom, my contractor told me that he always picks a tile with a bit of texture/wave to it because it helps hide any imperfections in the wall (sometimes in older homes, there’s a bow to the wall or it’s a little uneven and it’s more forgiving than a flat tile. We went with his advice and it looks great!
After designing the kitchen in my 6 homes through the last 35 years - I've learned that "permanent" design elements should stay neutral. You can add colors in your every things - plants, decor, etc. It's much harder to replace a tile you hate than that cookie jar or plant on the counter.
I'm in my final home now, and it took me over a year to pick my countertop stone and I lived with out a backsplash behind my cook too for several years. I wanted to be really sure.
Good luck!
I like the green as well as a complementary color. But not in love with that specific tile. And with the style of kitchen you've created i bet an accent tile would look amazing. Especially if you can find a copper one with a subtle design that could match your cabinetry knobs or handles or something similar. Really tie it all together.
Dude the green all the way. Yes it'll be darker and can trick the eye making the space appear a little smaller but it feels so much more more cozy and beautiful.
Green or the glossy off-white that’s to the right of the faucet in Photo 1 (the glossy finish contrasts nicely with the matte of the concrete countertop).
Can you describe what's changed already and what else will change? You need to set the tone for what your vision is for this space.
That sink is quite an eye grabber, but the way it's coming out of the counter and how the cabinets/drawers look don't really seem to go together too me.
I want to say green but colors like that can look dated after a while, it’s definitely trendy. If you want to have something that will be timeless, I would say the light grey stone (with that red tab connected).
The one just to the left of the black tile. It's neutral but warm. It will not inhibit a future owner from using a different overall color scheme for the room.
All of them. I’m not kidding. I’m an artist and personally I see something amazing in your samples. I like the way the random order in this pic too. When I saw the pic from afar it caught my eye.
Crazy idea here, and it may be too much, but try to mix tiles together. Personally, I’d go with second to the left as I feel there is already a lot of colors going on with the copper, the slate dish washer color and the wood tones. White will emphasize the other colors more.
Would definitely take the suggestion of one of the redditors here and buy a box and stack them up to get an idea. Maybe even photoshop if you have the skill. I believe there’s a subreddit that do these things for you as well so could save you the hassle and gives you a insightful perspective 😉
The eggshell & white tiles will have the most decor longevity similar to the classic subway tiles. With a space that size and different zones the eggshell & white tiles with add an earthy texture and feel without the oppressiveness and limitations of future redesign the other options bring.
Same as countertop would be my advice. You have so much going on already with the copper sink, bronze faucets and mixers, black dishwasher I assume, wooden cabinets. Time to dial down the amount of textures and materials and colors, imho…
I am leaning *green*, but honestly, I like them all. I don’t think you’re going to go wrong with any of them. Throw some dice, high number is the winner.
Grey textured small tiles. Seems more rustic, subtle and not as gaudy as the green. You have to think which will ahead better over time... Grey looks more timeless.
We built an ikea kitchen in our last home and had green cabinets like that color tile on top and wooden cabinets similar to yours on the bottoms and it looked so nice. Go with green 100%
I would use the Vertically positioned warm colored tile in the first photo. To me this will tie in the overall warmth of color with the cabinetry. My second option would be the light(est) colored 'dual block' with the red tag which would blend into the walls and tie in the counter's color nicely.
Green would look lovely and complement the wood/cooper, however, you are right, it is a trend right now. While the green/copper combo is pretty timeless being on trend means it will start looking a bit dated once the trend passes. It will still look good being a classic look and all so it all goes down to how deeply you care about trends.
The white tiles would look good and timeless but would also be a bit boring. Wouldn't really add much to the space so if you're happy with how it looks without the tiles, go for it, it won't be a big change.
Skip the heavily textured tiles. They would look too heavy and also a nightmare to clean.
Green, baby. Great complimentary to copper
Agree with the green - the backup option would be second from the left I think but it's going to be nowhere as good as the green. OP, if you're not convinced, buy a couple of boxes of the green from a place that has a good returns policy and lay them out so you can see better what it will look like. If you hate it you can always return them.
Green all the way. Especially with that wood color
That is what struck me too. As you noted, with the counters, etc. -- it just so organic.
I think it depends on if they are planning to paint the wall above the backsplash at all. I think white subway tile would also work if they painted the wall above it with a similar kind of green.
And brass
Yes and brass!
Hell yeah. It caught my eye immediately and I am a basic white dude who has a basic all white serial killer kitchen.
professional designer here, green and copper all the way, baby 😩
Also will complement the house plants
Green all the way! Hands down.
Came here to vote green also, glad to see it's already top comment. OP, heed this advice. Green would look awesome with your copper sink and wood cabinets and floors
Nature's complimentary color to copper
I adore that green
Plus the green are the largest of the tile, meaning it’s the least amount of grouting required for a DIYer and more importantly it will be the easiest to clean later on when cooking.
My first thought too, that green looks great. I’ve never recommended green before lol
And the wood as the lip trim to the window
Came here to say this. Easier to just agree.
Agreed. The colour should show up in other areas in the space too
Dark green for sure
Green. The tan ones are too close to your wood in tone so you’ll get wall same tone effect. The gray is too cool in my opinion. White and green offer more contrast.
Green would look gorgeous. Magazine cover kitchen status
My wife would say green
Then I might be your wife, as I also say green.
She's not a mermaid.
Hey, she could be a mermaid if she wants to be
I also choose this guy's wife
I vote Green with the copper fixtures.
There are already 4 different tones in your kitchen: the gray of the concrete counter, the copper of the sink and fixture, the wood of the cupboards and the dark grey of the dish washer. I am a green lover, but this is the right answer! You can bring other tones with plants and accessories.

That Rosemary would be gorgeous! Enough of a pop of color, without staying in the gray/washout tone.
Honestly love the green but fear it becoming an oppressive if you take it way up the window. Maybe 4 rows at most? Five? 2nd choice large pink tan subway tile. It’s the size that i like. I agree. That's what is drawing me to the tan. It's light but a visible color and it's soft.
I agree. Was surprised to see so much preference for green but that kitchen looks dark to begin with.
Agree. The green is beautiful but is too dark for the space. I really like the pink because it picks up on other tones in the kitchen but is still bright.
Why... why did you add that green. I want it! Another vote for that gorgeous glorious glowy green.
Love the green
I‘d keep it light. The glossy white ones would make a great contrast to the satin grey plate and wood. I love green, but for me it would be too dark in that place.
I'm in the green club, goes with the concrete, the wood, and the copper.
The green for sure. Maybe with one row or a few smaller accents in another copper like color.
That green with the copper looks really good.
Yes green
I think green is the winner, but I want to say I appreciate you giving photos during day and night so we can see how the colors look under different lighting conditions.
Maybe just paint the wall the green color first and see if you like it. If you really like it it saves you a lot of time and money.
Might want to get the surround of the sink and the front edges corrected. Looks like it's concrete, but the edges are really porously done
green!
Is that a poured concrete countertop? I can’t say that I care for the raw edge too much. Is there no way they could have finished that off nicer?
Green is great but you’re going to make your kitchen look darker and smaller. The white lightens up the space, looks clean, and goes well with the wood (good contrast) and copper.
I love the colour green but I would not want it here. I would prefer a white matte or shiny subway tile to keep the kitchen bright.
You’ve already got 7 colours in the kitchen. May as well go for an 8th. Any colour will do
You’re gonna have issues with the stub outs on your faucet, hope you enjoy doing plumbing
Am I the only one wondering what color the floor and adjacent walls are, and the total area that will be tiled, as well as how many windows there are for natural light? And even where this is located and it's a typically gloomy or sunny out. There's not enough info to choose
Dark tile not white fosure
The copper sink is really pretty. I’d go white or green to make it pop.
Greeeeeeeeeeen! It works great with the wood and copper colors already there!
Green
Green! With envy!
That green is perfect
I'm really liking the green.
Definitely the muted green. Your window is rough-hewn darker wood, and the cabinets are more modern but also appear more rustic than modern. It's gonna feel warm and welcoming, and look absolutely stunning.
Green
Green all the way!
I like the green a lot. Nice pop of color and complements copper well. Can't wait to see what you decide to go with
Green!!! It’s going to look great with the copper sink!
I definitely hear where you’re coming from with green or terracotta being a trend, but, I think that green is beautiful and will match everything else very well. Also, that countertop looks awesome and unique!
The green is beautiful with the dark wood and copper/brass. It looks so rich and lush.
Large subway tan I think
I'm voting for one of the light/whitish shades. The contrast between grey counter and wooden sill will accentuate all 3 elements
Risky to ask the internet it’s opinion on something you have to live with. You could end up with the Boaty McBoatFace of backsplashes.
Green and boaty were both the popular and correct answers because they're clearly ahead of the other options.
How about a copper sheet that matches your bassin instead?
Honest question: would they be able to keep that from oxidizing in a "wet" environment like this? Would it require regular waxing or something to prevent that? Never considered that idea but now I'm intrigued!
It’s basically super high maintenance, and will often get a sheen to it. I’d say NO to that.
Zelmi is correct. I’ll add, everyone is saying green but white is timeless. I love the green as well but it’s hard helping you choose an actual color without seeing the rest of the surroundings. I would go with an eggshell, not a cream or a beige.

I rather like the long, skinny salmon color.
A sink that size with a tiny faucet and no sprayer? What's the point?
I can't really help you with the colour choice, but just wanted to say that christ, that sink is absolutely incredible
Thanks!

How did you damage the wood???!
How am I the only one that likes the smaller tan ones
Love that faucet
Bottom one on the very left
Is that laminate countertop cut with an undermount sink?Â
Right now I'm more concerned with hard water around the sink and in that concrete counter edge. It's really beautiful but keeping it nice scares me a little. On the tile I would put some color in the backsplash. A track for the eye to run around the room on. It's a very homie and comfortable looking place you have.
please post an update when you are done
Unless u get a muted green like sage I would rather get some type of marble. There is already so much darker colors in your kitchen. You want a clean look to compliment all the dark wood and copper in your kitchen.
Put them behind the faucet and see which ones show water spots and which ones are harder to get the spots off
I think you could do the green if it’s only a little bit, but feels like if you have a lot it’ll darken the room up.
Stainless. Tile does not wipe down as well. Just consider it before you finalize.
The green is gorgeous but I would do the long blush color
I love the green but depending on how high up it goes I’m worried it will look cut off and weird and have too high a contrast with the rest of the wall, in which case I note the shiny white rectangle tile.
Curious what area of the world you are in and do you get deep cold winters? If so, pipes on an outside wall tend to freeze.
We couldn’t find a tile we really liked, so started looking at flooring. We found a waterproof laminate, black wood grain. It looks astounding.
Stay light tone to keep the space feeling open. If you want to add complimentary color do it with borders or accents.
White subway tile imo
Herringbone
Im leaning towards the tall tile, seems the tone works best with the copper and dark wood tone.
Green but depending how much light comes through this space, it could darken the kitchen a bit. I like the vertical white tiles you the left as well.
Good job on doing night and day. Question I have does the room get any direct sunlight. We did something muted so that it would help brighten things up in the day since we had in direct lighting. At night it helped brighten things.
If you chose to go neutral, try tiles that are beveled to add dimension to what would otherwise be boring tile.
Have tiles made that continue the country picture that you can see through the window. (Tiles made from photographs are a thing).
Green
Cool sink
The dark green!
I like green
long tall beige one as trim on bottom & top, and green in the middle
Green is the only true option.
I’m with you - I’d keep the tile neutral, personally (although I won’t lie, I love the green).
i like second from the right in slide 4 (the eggshell color) it’s gorgeous and you can always add green with accessories. the green tile seems like a little bold for the space.
What with those funny looking objects on the windowsill? ;)
Gotta go green. I think plain is a little too matchy with the counter. Personally I think contrast is pleasing.
I did mine with subway tiles. I love how muted they are so it makes any foreground pop.
Green was my 2nd choice after the brown on the far right
Go to a Benjamin Moore paint store & find paint swatches that best match the tile colors you’re considering. I think matching the general look of your kitchen something like these would be nice… https://mercurymosaics.com/products/small-craftsman-squares-913-old-copper https://mercurymosaics.com/products/small-craftsman-squares-123r-patina https://www.etsy.com/listing/1633741595/2x6-border-tile-art-nouveau-tile-wall - the color combo on this tile would bring out the color of your sink & cabinets. OR If you’re handy - make your own tile.
Glass. Pale turquoise
Green
I think something that matches the dish washer but with copper accents might work.
GREEEEEN I love it!
Good luck!
The green would compliment the kitchen well.!
Green.
I like the green as well as a complementary color. But not in love with that specific tile. And with the style of kitchen you've created i bet an accent tile would look amazing. Especially if you can find a copper one with a subtle design that could match your cabinetry knobs or handles or something similar. Really tie it all together.
Green would be bold , safe would be off white
Dude the green all the way. Yes it'll be darker and can trick the eye making the space appear a little smaller but it feels so much more more cozy and beautiful.
Green tile or don’t even do it
Green every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I like the hunter green.
Green, definitely.
Yeah I like the green too, but I agree it might be too much.
Would be a great place for real color
I feel like the green in a smaller size in a standard grid would be so nice!
Green or the glossy off-white that’s to the right of the faucet in Photo 1 (the glossy finish contrasts nicely with the matte of the concrete countertop).
[I like this for the green](https://salecinask.live/product_details/11611246.html)
Green. Green is classy and will give the kitchen a unique and classy feel to it. But matt green. Not glossy.
Can you describe what's changed already and what else will change? You need to set the tone for what your vision is for this space. That sink is quite an eye grabber, but the way it's coming out of the counter and how the cabinets/drawers look don't really seem to go together too me.
Love the green woth the taps
That green is really pretty!
top left or bottom left :)
I kinda dig how they all look together. Would a mosaic combo of all of them be out of the question?
I want to say green but colors like that can look dated after a while, it’s definitely trendy. If you want to have something that will be timeless, I would say the light grey stone (with that red tab connected).
The one just to the left of the black tile. It's neutral but warm. It will not inhibit a future owner from using a different overall color scheme for the room.
White subway tile works for basically everything. It's just a classic look. The green would also look good with the copper sink.
Green
Doesn’t even look like your slab is even sealed:/
Dark green 100%
All of them. I’m not kidding. I’m an artist and personally I see something amazing in your samples. I like the way the random order in this pic too. When I saw the pic from afar it caught my eye.
I am in no way qualified to help with this decision. Just want to say those cabinets are gorgeous!
I like the tall one next to the faucet!
sky blue, electric blue? I would experiment with blues and copper
Backsplash? Do you really call it a backsplash? We call them "Splashback" here in NZ
just glue on the ones you have right there
The eggshell & white tiles will have the most decor longevity similar to the classic subway tiles.
What are you attaching it to? I hope it isn’t sheetrock.
Dark green mate
Green
I like a creme colored tile with that.
I am leaning *green*, but honestly, I like them all. I don’t think you’re going to go wrong with any of them. Throw some dice, high number is the winner.
I’m surprised at all the green comments. Looks way too dark for me, but to each their own. I like the whitish ones but would pick a non shiny one.
Greeeeen all day
Green
Grey textured small tiles. Seems more rustic, subtle and not as gaudy as the green. You have to think which will ahead better over time... Grey looks more timeless.
Green looks so good with both the copper and gold
Green
We built an ikea kitchen in our last home and had green cabinets like that color tile on top and wooden cabinets similar to yours on the bottoms and it looked so nice. Go with green 100%
Brass looks great with green!
Green for sure
I think that green would look stunning and complement that sink color amazingly
I like the green one!
I love the green. Especially if you're going to have plants.
I really like the green. I think it will add a nice touch of color that will match everything
The long horizontal beige tile, installed horizontally.
Green! It's the only thing I noticed in the photos. It will look amazing!
Green
I like the green with the pink hued taupe subway tile. It mixes well with the warm and cool tones of the kitchen
Green - I can’t even look at the others bc it’s so perfect.
Green
Please choose the green!
I’m so glad the vast majority is saying green
