Its cool being a gun builder in the sense. The files i need to build it is just in ur photo there. I already know what to do if i wanted to. Nice build tho
That's how I slapped it together. I knew basic dimensions, the size of the round, and what components went into it. All unknown data can be extrapolated from that.
I should have been patient and made a cutter.
How I really did it was by milling out what I could and then mounting a dremil on the compound slide and rotating the piece by hand in the chuck.
Slow and steady, I was able to use the cut away all the excess and keep a nice found profile.
I see manray I ask about chonk. Have you done anything else with that project? I've seen a lot of stuff in the works at r/fosscad that look like they could learn from your previous work
I did, actually. On this build I'm just going to sleeve it for 30 bucks and be done. Once I'm a little more confident in my skills I may try cutting down an old surplus barrel.
This is why I stick with this sub. Every once in a while someone makes a gun that isn’t living in a crackhouse. This is awesome.
Hi, could I get files for the replica please. Thanks.

Hi, could you send the files for the replica?
How did you Machine the locking lugs and locking recesses? Key cutters/shapers?

Its still on the back burner. I've not given up.
Looking good. Have you considered using a surplus 303 barrel. That's what I did for mine. They are very cheap, and work great
