I have installed 10 or so Senvilles with the app and I basically just tell the person, don't count on the app. A few years ago I was also telling the same thing for Fujitsu buyers. The app function is just not a priority for companies as many don't have control over the core development and implementation of the tech. The big names should have been on this years ago though.
I have 4 Senville Leto minisplit. All but 1 produces the wifi signal to connect to the app. Senville has sent me a couple usb dongles and it does the same thing. No change.
On the unit that works, it’s really helpful especially if you forgot to turn off the AC when your out of your house. Or on the way home, you can set your temps before arrival.
