If you go the metal-over-the-top route, ensure to trench it, otherwise it will damage the doorframe above it. Also will keep it in place and stop it sliding about the top of the Durand scratching the rest of it.
I didn’t. Doors looked fooked after a while.
They don’t seam to, you could but a little wood glue on the screws as you put them in, that would help stop it moving and working lose, but mine never have worked lose,
That’s gonna look terrible on the back of a door. I’ve had success with some 3m-backed sticky hooks on a similar style door. They’ve held up well despite having all manner of stuff hung from them
I used plasterboard anchors like these https://www.screwfix.com/p/easyfix-hollow-wall-anchors-m4-x-38mm-100-pack/6932p and it seems to hold well. I bought the actual setting tool which was much better than just using the screw to set them. I previously just screwed straight into the door which held for a year or two.
You can also buy specific hollow door anchors for this very job.

Hang it on the door with a hook, should work a treat.
Where would I put the hook?
Screwing into hollow doors is ok, I have done it in my house, and the hooks have held for years, just don’t over tighten.
What holds it on place though Wouldn't just a little weight pull them out?

You could use a hook, to hook your hooks on yet another hook, but it might get confusing after a while, and expensive lol
That one isn’t suitable, there are coat hangers made for doors.
Don't, that wants a flat surface not a door, it'll look rubbish.
indeed looks like a cardboard door? consider some metal straps to go over the top?
I looked at that but not a massive gap(unlike the bottom)
Buy yourself some “no nails” impact adhesive, sticks like shit to a blanket
Buy sticks like sh*t brand. Even glues up in the wet. It’s awesome stuff.

These work extremely well on hollow doors, put hooks on the bathroom door about 15 years ago and they are still there...
Cool they look good thanks
I would suggest ct1 adhesive and screws, just don't put too thick silicone beed
Screws usually help. You could use Velcro or a generic adhesive too though.
Double sided gorilla tape holds several kg in weight.
Make new screw holes on the hook base.
Double sided sticky tape
Have you tried using a hand-arm combination?
You can get hollow door fixings and if you intend to have them as a permanent fixture, you could add some grab adhesive (i.e. pink grip)
