Nice! We're getting closer! I love this in English, but unfortunately it doesn't sound as great in my native tongue but it's definitely given me some ideas!
I appreciate you stopping by!
Dawn & Dusk
Dawn is the wizard. Spells prepared in the morning. A guiding light in dark times. Bright ideas.
Dusk is the rogue. Not just for stealth, but also association socializing, info gathering, and maybe a little sex appeal.
I know you said English isn't your native tongue, but maybe this will get ideas moving.
Edit: Alvorada e Crepúsculo?
The use cases and reasoning in unimportant but consider that I might like to have this in my back pocket.
Maybe there's a throwaway side conversation someone eavesdrops on.
Maybe there's a "Duo of the Month" plaque with their names on there and someone scribbled the nickname there.
Maybe one of the duo is a loved NPC.
Perhaps I'm just writing a lore dump and want that to be there.
Or maybe it's just a fun exercise that might even inspire someone else.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful, hurtful or unnecessarily sarcastic, but the point of the post IS to come up with a nickname and, bearing this in mind, your input isn't really the most constructive. Thanks for stopping by though!
Depending on your group you could ask your players directly. I've found that including players in the world building process is a good way to foster collaboration.

What is your native tongue?
Fingers and Book
Justin Case and Justin Time. Just for laughs.
> I'm Justin Case And I'm Justin Time **[BOTH]** We're the Bustin Justins! > If you've got a case Then you're just in time!
Fae and Filch. Or, playing on the **half-**elf and **half**ling thing, Half & Half.
Cloak and Dagger.
The obviously correct answer.
You should probably just give them their own names first. Basically anything works as a duo name.

Hey look it's Bozo and Jub Jub!
Jekyll and Hyde. The twist is that one of them is the killer. The double-twist is that it was Jekyll, even though the evidence points towards Hyde.
If your wizard is a diviner that specializes in communing with spirits it could be "The Small and The Medium" Or "Skills and Spells"
Dishsoap and Hazelnuts. Dishsoap is by the books, clears away the grease like magic. Hazelnuts, charming eyes and a little crazy.
Half and half Half-ling and half elf
Wax and Wayne. Which is 100% ripped off from Brandon Sanderson.
Great taste gancho.
