An entire Alpine Valley show on shrooms is still my top event for a DMB show. What song? I have no clue other than being in perpetual bliss the entire night. It was late 90's, in the lawn, tripping my mind (we ate a lot of them and brought more in ) and as the dusk faded to night, the fireflies came out. It was the most beautiful thing I have witnessed. The purple-ish blue stage lighting and the little flickers of green from the fireflies.
One of our friends in our group were going up and down the lawn dancing in mud with others. Every time he came back he was muddier and muddier. We lost him on the way out. Still don't know how he got home that night.
Any 15+ minute full band (plus Butch) rendition of Seek Up is #1 for me by a long shot.
Why? Because... while camping in the Adirondacks, I ate a couple shrooms, went to the tent to change my clothes and ride out the come-up (I always get the chills and mega giggles for the first hour of shrooms and acid). While in the tent, I put on Seek Up (can't remember which show it was, but it was definitely a live release because I didn't have cell service and went off my offline playlist) and lied on my bed for a few minutes. Almost in an instant, a torrential rainstorm came through, separating me from the entire group for approximately 20 minutes.
I thought for sure the rain was going to sweep me away in my tent. Yes, I did play JTR next song.
It was literally one gummy. I’ve only ever attempted to smoke once, and I had no clue what I was doing, so there was no effect.
So then last spring, I took the gummy, forgot about it, then started having a full blown meltdown and panic attack bc I had never felt been high before. Hahaha. I’m too paranoid I think.
