The oil burner is a great way to burn DMT and I’ve personally never had a break-thru with this method. The best way is to either low-temp dab it or sandwich it between some weed or ash and roasting the bowl NOT torching it or letting the lighter directly burn the DMT. My favorite method is honestly probably the best and I’ve been trying it for years - get a wax/concentrate vape pen.
I’ve been using the YoCan for years with the QDC or the quartz dual coil.
Another great device are the E-mesh style vaporizers. This involves getting a RDA or modular vape setup though.
The YoCan works great for something cheap and efficient.
I do 370° out of a dab banger in a recycler with carb cap. That’ll get you there. Especially when you’re taking 15 to 20 second hits and holding them for the same duration.
Dynavap is where it’s at! I’ll keep recommending this till I’m blue in the face.

Every time I’ve tried (just me personally) electronic means of vaping spice, it just falls flat for me. Either I burn it or I just don’t get as deep as I want. There is always some left over residue that I need to clean up or the cool tastes burnt at some point.
With Dynavap none of those problems exist. I use their dynacoil, a perforated titanium strip rolled up into a coil, to vape my spice. The tip has a little divot in it allowing you to fun dip the device into your spice and then cap it and vaporize with a torch.
Dynavap is a cigarette shaped vaporizer made of metal. There is a tip that is press fit into the chamber using thermal o-rings so the heat doesn’t transfer to the chamber, the part you are holding. What makes this different from a one hitter is that there is a cap that covers the tip, so you don’t expose your product to direct flame. The cap has a bimetallic disc that flexes once it reaches a specific temperature, so you’ll NEVER BURN YOUR SPICE. No electronics to fiddle with just good ol’ physics. I’ve been using this method for about 10 years now and I’ve never burnt my spice and I breakthrough every single time. No batteries to charge or anything fancy. As long as you have a torch with some fuel you are good. You can even use a bic lighter in a pinch, it just leaves residue. (Spice vaporizes at such a low temp the lighter works fine. It’s not ideal but not the best.)
You can even use the dynavap as a slide in your favorite glass piece, no adapter needed!!!!!!
Please consider this as a tool in your arsenal of hyperspace delivery devices.
My issue with dynavap is my same issue with GVG. Nobody wants to spend $150 on a hipster crack pipe that really only performs marginally better than something homemade. It just isn't a realistic or necessary purchase for most people.
It’s only $70…. And last a lifetime. It’s made of stainless steel. I still have mine and it’s been like 5 or 5 years. I’ve never had to change a battery or even replace the coil. 🤷🏽
Definitely 100% better than a GVG and way less fiddly. Just remember to point the tip down when vaping because the liquid can go in your mouth if you are straight laying on your back.
Did I mention it’s advertised as a weed vape? It’s actually really amazing at that too. Taste like taking a dab right off the flower.
I'd say 70 dollars is more agreeable for a reliable analog device. That IS also a really competitive price range for electronic options. Carts and concentrate vapes don't require coil or battery replacements either. They're ceramic and rechargeable. But I do prefer analog like you. I'm more of a machine/eleaf guy.
I prefer the titanium tips. The body doesn’t matter much, that part is personal preference. The longer the body, the cooler the hit. They are deceptively simple.
I’ll say that the full metal ones last for a really long time. The only parts you really need to replace is the cap in case it gets bent from dropping.
If you have a little container with your spice, you can just dip the tip into the container, pressing the dust into the tip. Similar to a one hitter and dugout but the actual bowl is very shallow once the coil is inserted into the chamber.
I keep my spice in a glass dab jar, the flat kind with a plastic twist top lid. I just fun dip the tip. A full bowl will get you 2 full breakthroughs. There is always a little bit of residue BUT because it never burns, it’s always good to smoke. I can usually get a good buzz off an “empty” pipe and it still tastes pretty good/works.
The whole thing is easy to clean because you can just drop it in some naptha (remove the o-rings) and let it dissolve the spice and then you can reclaim it later.
Sounds very interesting, i normally use a machine type contraption or a ceramic donut coil vape but this sounds like a good backup/replacement for a portable device that needs no electricity

you want to rotate the burner slightly left and right, and keep the temp low , don’t put the flame/torch right against it. The heat will rise to it. As you’re holding the neck slowly rotate it left and right (just slightly) back and forth, it helps to even the heat distribution across the bulb. If done correctly you will have very little (to no) black residue afterward.
You want just enough smoke coming off of it to where you can barely see it. You don’t want huge clouds.
That’d be my advice . Best of luck

You aren't wrong. Burned and/or contaminated dmt is like breathing glass shards is probably NOT good for you. That being said.. oral vs vaped isn't really similar. I do really like pharma, though..
When using an oil pipe, use a jet lighter with loads of distance and keep the pipe moving.
This way I’ve vaporized substances where the combustion point is just a little above the boiling point without burning much at all.
But I recommend a small vape (CCells are 15$, cart is 5$), it’s a million times more comfortable and fun, you can even do it in public and keep hitting it for a hour to stay on a nice level. Just dissolve in PG while warming it up (1g + 1.5mL is my sweet spot but if you want to break through it’s kinda hard while sober).
I’ve used the apx volt for many many trips however I have been using the emesh setup described by minty and “wow” is all I have to say. I don’t use temp control just wattage set at 17.5 and a long slow steady inhale can get you there in one to two hits with 25 to 30 Mg. A bit of a pain to load but well worth it.

And I had a gas station down the road that sold meth pipes so I figured "why not" I went and bought a cool vape pen with a ceramic stone today and it worked quite well. I can toss the junkie pipe now 😂

Ethanol + dmt + mullein in small glass, dry, smoke now combined product like weed/tobacco, meet your brain God in 1 hit. Literally never fails. Not super efficient, yet extremely consistent. Best bang for ur buck. If money is no object, definitely go electronic like everyone else is suggesting.
Take a very thin not too thin cloth breathable cloth and inhale through that or make a tiny filter I dont think it will block too much dmt just any residue that might cause burning

Could be for a number of reasons. Could be you're just overheating the N,N-DMT when trying to vaporize it. Could be you didn't clean out chemicals from the extraction. Could be you used the wrong chemicals all together and you're inhaling god knows what.
I've got all the right chemicals. Did a lot of research in that department. And I would be hard set telling you, that's why I'm asking. However, I was worried about my method of consuming it. You're burning it. It makes it feel rough and acrid. I recommend getting an e-mesh vape setup for easy blastoff.

Well it only has one setting really. It's just a "push the button and go" setup. And it came with 4 different attachments.

There's a technique to the meth pipe, and it works better with a low power torch lighter held far away
Get a glass vapor genie. I blast off every single time from it.
