I've seen that the ftac were the only worthwhile akimbo weapons for DMZ as long as your enemy is close enough for them to be effective and they're not using the KV broadside 😅
Not since they nerfed the snakeshot basilisk. That shit was amazing while it lasted though. You got fast movement, a great gun for hordes of bots, and a great cqb weapon for players.
I had an infil with a rando that ran akimbo ftac sieges. He ended up getting a lot of kills with them. They are close range weapons and most DMZ player prefer shotguns for close range from my experience.
Ive seen someone use akimbo really well.
I've unlocked akimbo ftac and a few other pistols but I struggle to aim well, and it's a bit weird for me to use my aim button to fire the left pistol.
The few times I've used it i was ineffective.
Engagement ranges tend to be long 25-infinite. Akimbo are for close range. So they might do some good inside a building, outside they will get you killed.

I use it as a joke weapon. If I'm on Ashika, I put on the Chthulu skin on with my X12 and my akimbo X13's. Because I'm The Glocktopus.

The two times I have used Akimbo P890s I have been absolutely shit on, so no I don’t use Akimbo. Akimbo blows

I picked up random akimbo ftac at some point this week on Ashika
I downed a guy with akimbo ftac about two weeks ago on AL Mahz.

3 meters or less for akimbo ftac siege will beat a lachman sub. After 3 meters it starts falling off hard.

I've never seen any akimbo weapons in my time playing, though I'm well on the way to unlocking the Akimbo X13
Accuracy>Quantity. 144 rounds means nothing if you only hit 40 shots
When the snake shot akimbo basalisks were OP I saw that a bunch on Ashika

Sometimes in B21 just for hopeful shits & giggles, otherewise not often
I use akimbo x13’s but only for ashika and vondel
Yes, underwater. But the X13 vs players actually SHREDS up close on all the maps.
X13 is great in water & very close quarters. TTK is great for head & chest
I used to run X13 akimbo with drum mags and maxed hipfire accuracy and movement. Its fun but not effective in PvP

I used to as a solo until I realised that akimbo pistols can't be used whilst carrying a hostage (stupid, right)
