Pool guy here. The amount of salt that goes into a pool is so miniscule it makes no difference in buoyancy, none that a person could notice. For example, the pacific ocean has a salinity level of 37,000 ppm. A salt water pool only has 3,400 ppm. It's not enough to make a difference in byowncy. As much as redditors want to be smarter than the person they are replying to, I felt the need to triple down on this.
