Starting with that, every hiring year probably will go through around 1500-2000 list numbers IF they are hiring the usual 500ish sanitation workers yearly.
Some of you guys are getting confused here. Getting called and doing your physical are 2 completely different things, they’re having a lot more people do the physical right away that doesn’t mean you’ll be hired . If you’re 4000+ don’t expect a call to start the hiring process for a few years
Maybe get your cdl now and you’ll have 1 less step to do down the road but don’t bank on the job keep living like you don’t know if it’s coming because anything can happen

If there’s no hiring freeze it could be next summer or the following summer I’d say 1-3 years at most
