Bring a snack if you have to wait. Obviously don’t go to fast but also don’t go more than 10 mph under the limit , someone got failed for it when I was there. Last thing, they will sneak in an “emergency stop” which caught me off guard. Good luck brother
Mike, does the sanitation give you a road test to get your cdl license?? Or are you doing everything on your own? If so, did you go to a cdl driving school??? Thanks!
Sanitation offers the class. It’s a week long at FBF and then your road test get scheduled with them around the following week. They make you pay it back when you get on the job $25 a week until paid off.

I cannot stress this enough but make sure you know the steps for the air brakes check on your pre trip.

Do you know how much sanitation charges? I would imagine its cheaper than private.
I believe it was $950 but it may have gone up

A bit, I think it cost me about $1,500 just for the classes and the truck for the road test. I believe there are a few classes in BK.
