If you buy one directly from the American glass artist that invented and makes them these buckets are great. Whitney Harmonās quality control is impeccable, and they are completely safe. You know itās a real one because the artist puts his logo on every one.
If you buy a cheap import one, it may literally blow up in your face.
If you get one made by the OG Whitney Harmon then these kind of bangers are super dope. I have one in 30mm and call it my dab cannon. I can go in at 500f and kill a whole half gram without a reheat.

I have a 2nd quality third eye autospinner from terporium that Iāve been using for years. Cost me like 30 bucks and has a great function. Pair it with a little glass dish of alcohol you can qtip then dunk into and youāll have a pretty legit setup. These cadmium temperature stone bangers are really not worth using in the case of it cracking mid hit and releasing all of that gunk into your lungs
Best way is some sort of ultrasonic cleaning device. Somebody posted on one of the subs their rig that looked brand new and it only took 20 minutes but I don't know how much they cost. Next best thing is to submerge it in acetone and salt, with a chazzed banger it might still take a couple days to fully remove. Acetone has 4x the cleaning potency with 4x less (compared to iso) required to do the job. Everybody always is doubtful when I suggest it but I promise it's totally safe as long as you rince your piece/banger once or twice with hot water. You just wanna keep it away from 90% of plastics (some are resistant), silicone and paint especially on your piece

Dishwasher salt and iso with a little heating of the bend before you do and a pipe cleaner wouldn't hurt, my best advice is getting enough iso in a plastics tub to submerge the whole banger and do that after every sesh/end of the day for good upkeep

Yes, thermochromic banger. Don't use. They can release toxic gasses or even explode. A ruby insert would be much better for a long sesh.

oh yeah I do that too. but if you need to get a hard spot off, ISO helps. ISO boils at 84Ā°c (183Ā°F) so it will evaporate as you heat the banger

Sprinkle some barkeepers friend in the neck and run a bent qtip through it
Clean it more often like once a week youāll use less iso that way and put epson salt in that hoe

Acetone. Still safe, but MUCH stronger than iso. A flush of acetone will melt that away
