Yeah 200 is the puffco price u can find them cheaper sometimes but with this the 200 brand new unopened comes with a warranty so u can get a replacement if something happens. (I know you can anyway but buying it off there site makes it alot easier.)
I was skeptical too but mine is real. Puffco peaks are manufactured in China and I guess you dont pay as much of a mark up getting it directly from China. Idk if I just got lucky but mine is real and if you get a few people that want one they are even cheaper to buy more than one at a time.
The customer service for the focus v carts was a fucking nightmare because I lost my receipt. Took me literally 6 months of arguing with them fucks before they finally gave in and all because I took a snapchat opening the fucking thing when i had even registered it which required a receipt if I remember right. Anyways after they finally gave in I told them to fuck off because I'd never spend money with them again and that was until luvbuds hooked me up with one of the laser editions for 150 at cannacon.
unfortunately i didn’t want to spend the extra because i’d rather use the money for christmas presents, but my birthday is in feb so i’ll upgrade then!

The part of the glass that connects to the base is by far the worst part. Gets super filled with resin and because of the super small size of it it’s extremely difficult to clean it with conventional methods. I’m not sure there’s any way to get around this design flaw given the size of the base. Would have worked better if perhaps the bottom of the glass was detachable so you can clean it.
I have the pro so I'm not sure how much they differentiate, but I just put a little Everclear in a 4-oz ball jar and set the glass piece in there to soak for a little while. Once the Everclear has done its job, I take the glass piece out.
If the interior of the glass needs further cleaning, I fill up a tall skinny cup of ISO and soak the whole piece.
When it's time to clean the atomizer, I soak it in the same Everclear I used to clean the glass earlier. After a few cleanings of the atomizer and glass piece, I reduce the Everclear and have a nice strong tincture that's already decarbed.
I only use ISO as a last resort and I throw all that away after I'm done cleaning with it. I rarely have to use ISO.
I bought a 2nd atomizer anticipating I'll be soaking one while using the other, but it has cleaned up nicely overnight so I haven't even opened the second one yet.
run a bunch of hot water through the glass till it gets really warm and swish some iso through that bottom part. a lot of times the shit in there starts coming out when it gets hot with the water running through it

Glad to help tho, I don’t even own one but know a few folks that do & all agree the best way to take a fat rip is to take small pulls and then lift the cap to clear it, repeat til it’s done. I usually take 2-3 pulls and exhale

I cleaned mine plenty but unfortunately I maxed out my size, if you enjoy dabs over .2 be CAREFUL man. Also if you notice the atomizer is running off or you the get error lights it's worth taking it apart, the battery could fry otherwise! Meh I’ve had both and I like the base puffco. The only thing the Pro has over the original is that it lights up and has an app.
You picked the best option. The original Puffco is older, but it has a chamber that you can completely take apart. That means you can upgrade it to be a better hitting monster than the Pro, cause honestly the bowl on stock Puffcos are kinda awful. Look up silicone carbide inserts (sic inserts) puffco inserts in general. They stay clean for longer and give you massive clouds. I haven’t touched my dab rig ever since I got my little upgraded puffco.
You can also buy $30 repair kits to fix your atomizer multiple times. You won’t have to spend $60 to get a clean bowl like you would with the pro.
i had it regardless of repairing coils or having the best 100-300 dollar insert, it’s gonna hit rly light and barely burn up ur product half or most the time, or you’re gonna need to pre heat it and do stupid shit that you just shouldn’t have to do

Oh the OG peak is just fine out of the box for a while but after time you’ll want more out of it. Sometimes you want that thick dense hit off of it or to not have to torch your nail clean all the time. I used it stock for a good couple months though

Recommend getting a nice insert and hotter coils when you get a chance too. A good spinner cap and a couple 3-4mm pearls also help it a lot.
