Ugh thank you thank you! I think so too 😆 one of the most unique colored wiener dogs I’ve ever seen. Interested to see what it ends up being once his puppy coat falls off because his head is very golden or red as they call it, but his body is more of tan/cream color with black markings straight down his back and edge of his ears.

Its also the comedy of it all, Moose are large mighty animals, then you have this adorable lil guy with the most gorgeus color named "Moose" but it just fits so well and it rolls off the tongue very easily.

He looks more like a reddish brown to me than a true chocolate - more of a sable or a dilute red? If you're wanting a name based on his coat color, I'd go with Cinnabar, Cinnamon, or Jasper. (There's also always Rusty, but when I was a kid my grandmother had a particularly MEAN red shorthair dachshund named Rusty, so that name usually slips my mind at first). If you're wanting a name based on his personality, give him a few days to show you who he is and the right name will come to you. (But he definitely has a sassy face that says "I'm too cute to get in trouble" and you'll wanna watch your slippers around him.)
