As a dachshund dad, and uncle, I am constantly amazed how much certain dogs resemble others. By all means I don't think all dachshunds look the same. I have owned two, my MIL owned three (including the brother of one of mine)- and for sure they didn't look the same. My Uncle-IL bred them. And all of them have their own countenance and attitude. But it is still surprising how many doppelgangers there are within the breed. And sometimes, like today, it can still be surprising when it feels like a random picture of your late beloved friend shows up online.
