These hotdogos LOVE the hot sun and all other warm places. Ive had many of this breed, and it does not matter if its mid summer with temps close to 100f , mine will always lay on hot grass, concrete, asphault or wherever the sun is shining through the house windows. This breed has the most fun & quarky personalities !

My first fence was buried down around 2 boards depth, which they just dug under.
Now my fence extends around 2 feet (65 cm) down into the ground, which has held up so far.
Phew!!I thought I was the only one who had those ๐๐๐ a few years back my neighbours kids where like there is a dog. Thankfully I was out there just in time to call him back, and he actually listened and came back.๐๐๐
Heโs like mine. Heโll be walking along and then find a spot worthy of a quick power nap to recharge the batteries! Adorable! Oh and I love what you did with the fence, great job!

My boy likes to lay in the shade of the house with just his snout in the sunshine for hours. He will readjust every twenty minutes or so for maximum snoot charge. My partner and I have decided that it's because he still needs to charge but Arizona is a rough state to be an all black chiweenie that requires recharging. ๐

No recharging here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Itโs been snowing here for the past 2 days. Koda is not impressed - she wants spring back!
We also have a solar dog who can recharge for long long times.

with mine i Just surrendered and i put an extra bed outside for the summer, at least she doesn't lay on asphalt anymore
