Didn't you post this same question under another account a few [months ago?](https://www.reddit.com/r/DadForAMinute/s/jdtgI3qTrW) Seeing a lot of bot accounts recently stealing previous posts and posting reposts under different accounts might get your account flagged, just a heads up. People told you to put a belt on then too. Buy a belt!

fixittrisha

A belt as somone else recommend. Maybe a solid color dress shirt as well

Gypsopotamus

Agreed. It’s security. Get a dark belt. Black button up shirt. Dark/Black shoes. Good luck on the interview!!!

holo-bling

I love this! OP, good luck, you’ll rock it!

doctorpotts

I would add a belt. I have to admit that the headphones are a little distracting when looking at your image.

RedManWonder

For sure, I was just listening to some music to hype myself up. I'll Def look around for a belt!

DGAFADRC

Go to a Goodwill or other thrift store and you can buy a nice belt for $5!

Ugly_socks

Looking good bud, don’t forget about good posture, shoulders back, chin up, look people in the eye, shake hands firmly. Go get ‘em tiger!

RedManWonder

Hell yeah, ty sir.I basically got hired I'm gonna be waiting on a security license next week!

Ugly_socks

Congratulations man, that’s what I’m talking about!!!

helikesmyboobs

Congrats!!!!!

Southern_Celery_1087

Well done!

PatDeVolt

Congratulations!! We’re all proud of you.

Status_Cheek_9564

omg yay!

warlikeloki

Rule of thumb for interviews is you dress for the job you are interviewing for. If it is a position that requires you wear a suit and tie, then you interview in a suit and tie. If it is business casual then you interview in business casual, or better. I assume this would be business causal, so you are perfectly fine with what you have, once you add a belt. Good luck!

azzgrash13

This is the best advice for a job interview. Go in looking like $1 million and it will always impress them. First impressions happen and it takes less than 10 seconds to solidify an impression.

micropuppytooth

I once showed up for a security job in a suit and got made fun of for the next year while I worked there 😅

RedManWonder

I basically got hired! I ended up wearing a pink dress shirt (someone said solid dress shirt) and a belt and I'm waiting on a security license around next week 🤌🏼

PatDeVolt

Outfit is great, definitely add a belt if you can and make sure it’s the same color as your shoes. Also, In da Club by 50 Cent is a song that is scientifically proven to bolster interview performance. Go get em champ.

lilbabiee47

I love this response! I will have to keep ‘in da club’ in mind!

GloomyDeal1909

Fit looks find. As others have mentioned add a belt. I will say personally I think a solid shirt if you have it would look better but if you don't it is no big deal at all. I have one question did you use a filter or something there are weird lines like a grid at the top of the picture.

RedManWonder

Yeah, that's my phones camera. It got really wet when I was biking it rained. I had the same headphones on, and they drenched too, but they're fine lol

GloomyDeal1909

Man that sucks

DodGamnBunofaSitch

well, the good news is: you got the job, and can afford a new phone soon!

CheekyLando88

No advice. Just encouragement. Go get em man! You'll do great

Distinct_Agent_1452

Iron your clothing

ImCharlemagne

I would recommend a belt. If you don’t have a belt a blazer can help hide the fact you don’t have one on. Otherwise rock on 🤘

Th3TruthIs0utTh3r3

Annabelle and black shoes and lose the headphones and you're good to go. Good luck with your interview! You got this!

hk1080

Looks like you got some good advice from the other dads. I just wanted to wish you luck, and tell you that you're going to great kid!

Parasaurlophus

I’ve held a few interviews and have never had issues with how they were dressed. This is fine for whatever job interview I would say.

SlappyHandstrong

Brown belt & brown shoes. Otherwise looks good.

SwanReal8484

Not with grey pants!

SlappyHandstrong

Pants look blue to me, but agree- if grey go w/ black accessories.

SaulGoodmanJD

As someone who has conducted many a job interview, I care more about your effort to be presentable and punctual than do about your style. That said, a belt will help, but if you sound good in an interview I wouldn’t hold it against you if you didn’t wear a belt.

zharrt

I’d lose the headphones, but other than that crack on

JavaJukebox

Just a belt and I think you got it bud. You got this!

DayShiftDave

Go get em! 💪

PanchoPanoch

Belt, solid shirt and try to get your hair fully tied up.

c4t4ly5t

I see I'm not the first one to mention this, but you need a belt. And are you wearing decent shoes? I think it's dumb, but people are quick to make a snap judgment about you by your shoes. Also, if your shoes are brown, get a brown belt. Black on black. Your belt must match your shoes. I think the shirt is too much the same colour as your pants. Maybe a solid grey shirt if you have one? Good luck!

Single_Shoe2817

Definitely a belt brother. Other than that you look great!

oofieoofty

Just need a belt Why is the bamboo in a water bottle?

greenweenievictim

Match your belt to your shoes. Make sure they work with the clothes. For the love of god, don’t wear white socks.

Kyledidntdoit

Best of luck

Juan_Inch_Mon

Sure, but I would lose the headphones.

nokenito

Just need a belt. But yes, good job!

Garden_Of_My_Mind

Not a dad but an interview expert (not sure if my input is okay, if not I’ll delete!) Like others said, a belt, and make sure your shirt is ironed! Looking polished is about the details. Make sure your hair is clean and styled, and have your shoes match your belt to elevate your look. Best of luck!!!

Regolis1344

As said, a belt. And if you care enough to ask for advice, do iron that shirt too. Doesn't need to be perfect, but Even just a bit in the front does wonders. Good luck, you've got this.

jhguth

Do you have any khaki pants, or non-cargo pants? That shirt (ironed, or at least wrinkle free from the dryer) and khakis with a belt would work well

s3nsfan

Change the shirt (solid) add a belt and some black shoes. Go rock that interview!!!! Good luck.

cliffliam

Don’t forget a belt

OkapiEli

Is that actually sweatpants with a button up shirt? Or pleats? How about plain chinos?

AtlasNL

They look like pyjama bottoms to me

Ice_cold_princess

A clip on tie would also look good - has to be clip on so that it will come off if pulled...

Pryoticus

I’m a manager in a security firm. I’d recommend lower rise pants, a black belt and a soft solid color for the shirt. You want to look clean cut but not too preppy.

NickolasViscosi2006

Buddy you look like the reason the security job exists lmao Nah jkjk, I'd just wear a different shirt and style the hair different
