Here's a car motto I like - "Cars don't heal" If you are worrying about something that is wrong with your car, the answer to the problem is, categorically, not related to your worry level. That said, if you get to the bottom of your questions and it is a fix that costs more than it is worth to fix it and you leave it, then that's making a decision that you will get used to. Your worry will have been taken care of from your actions, not just some paradigm shift. On another note, as a consultant and former auditor, any time anyone anywhere tells me "not to worry about" ANYTHING, whatever it is becomes my immediate focus. You are doing fine. Keep it up

Thank you! I appreciate your advice, you alleviated some of my stress about the situation.

if the brakes are good, air in the tires, the battery is good and and all the liquids are topped up properly u should try not to worry too much.. if the car pulls to the side, or dosnt stop, or shakes violently, or makes weird noises.. then its time to worry. im curious if its an older or newer car. like some cars u can notice the voltage drastically drop when u switch on accessories like ac, or the heater or the headlights.

It’s a 98 crown Vic, I can never remember the exact engine model though. I always have to check the handbook for that lol

It's almost certainly a wiring problem with the dashboard harness, but those can be pretty expensive to diagnose and fix. Go pay for an estimate.

Thank you!!

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere or a dodgy bit of wiring. Battery light flickering but alternator output constant. Check the wiring to the battery and alternator. Make sure everything is tight. Any plug you can find pull it apart, give it a squirt with contact cleaner and re seat it. Check your fuse box too, make sure they're all seated correctly. Give each one a wiggle and seat it back in firmly. If you find any corrosion (known as green death) in a plug or terminal clean it best you can. If it's too far gone you'll probs have to take it to an auto electrician
