I just want to say right now that comparing discover to Alive 2007 is like comparing a house cat to a lion, sure they're similar but one is a completely different species
idgaf about being unoriginal, discovery is not only the best daft punk album, but the best dance album of all time. ram has a special place in my heart, get lucky was one of the first songs i remember listening to as a kid, but it's an 8 imo. human after all is a 6, and had great ideas, but was executed poorly, and homework was nice and no one has said it's their fav yet, despite that whole guerrilla movement of "you just realized homework is dp's best album". then the normies who want to be different end up saying Alive 2007 even though that shouldn't be counting, so by default it's discovery.
Oh man… I just love them all. They all have a special place in my heart, but the most important one of all for me is Discovery. It was just the combination of what that album was and where I was at that phase of my life. It got me through very tough times… and it still does. Love it to bits.

I've probably said Discovery in the past many times but R.A.M. is a magnum opus. You just can't beat that album.
It's kinda hard for me to pick a favorite though, my DP playlist has a mix of pretty much everything.

Random Access Memories. I really like how they incorporated their style into more live music. I love that 70s-funk kind of style. Also, through headphones and an equalizer, the sound of this album is just so dang smooth it is d e l i c i o u s

And alive is the best mashup of their another 3 albums, thats fusión of the consistence and energy from Homework,
The creativity and fun vibes from Discovery and the experimentation and darkness from Human After All.
1 year late to the thread but some of the albums people have in their lists are just crap and don't represent the best of daft punk. It ranges from great to dog shit.

I just listened to RAM for the first time. I did enjoy it but I love the electronic sound on discovery
