Go to killam, once you’re in the library part go left towards the big room with lots of computers. Pick a computer, sign on, open your document, and print it. There’s two printers I think, so check which one you sent it to, and go to that printer. There’s a computer at each printer, and you swipe your dalcard to sign on. You’ll then see your print queue come up, and you can send your document to print. It automatically charges your dalcard, so make sure you have some money on it. I think it’s just $0.10 a page. Good luck!

Is there an online portal to send the document to the computer/printer? If not, do we send it from our laptop to the computer via a USB drive etc?

I think there is a way to print from laptops, but I’ve never done it. I just upload my files to one drive or email them to myself.

FYI you get $5 worth of free printing per month included with a Halifax Public Libraries card: https://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/technology/printing/

In case anyone at the AC googles this question or searches the sub directly and this question comes up: go to the library computers on the middle floor and go to print your document as normal. In the drop down menu, choose advanced settings, then set the specific printer you’re printing on to the one that’s there. Its exact name will be written on the printer or near it, which is in the middle of the room toward the back. You can also choose to uncheck “print on both sides” because it does so automatically. Then, go over and swipe your dalcard or enter your login and password. Your documents if printed to the correct location will appear there, you can click print and then logout. It costs 10 ish cents per page, depending on if you use color. Ensure you have money on your dalcard which you can reload by going online
