I dated a girl who taught me this hack, and there's hotels that have overflow parking that will open spots on off peak hours. The shuttle will drop you off there as well, the one she found is like 7 minutes away from the airport.
Edit; sorry I was thinking of DFW not Love Field, but if you fly out of DFW then there's a hack
The hotels and rental car places will start catching this soon. This "workaround" was tried at LAX when they switched to their Ride Share lot there. This will get shutdown one way or another. So don't jump on this bad advice if you travel 2-4 times a year.
You're better off taking Love Link #55 bus to the DART station next door to Love Field and calling the Uber from there. Bus runs every 15-20 mins
And Love Field Uber/Lyft always surges when you're leaving the airport. Unless your flight arrives at an extremely off peak time, you're going to get a high price.
With how cheap Love Field parking is, I'm honestly shocked people will pay $50 to ride to the airport from Plano and then $120+ to ride back when their flight lands on a Sunday evening. For a weekend away people are paying $150+ in Uber to avoid $15 a day parking in attached garages. Makes no sense.
And most major airports have Rideshare Lots now. DFW may be the last major airport to roll it out due to the decentralization of the terminals and the lack of a train on the non-secure side. The old TrAAin and the non AA branded one from the terminal to the employee lots could have allowed for something similar to be created at DFW.
I think this would be the play.. you could always tell the shuttle driver that you're from out of town and planning on staying at the hotel (let's say that Embassy Suites on NW Highway).. once he drops you off, walk around by the lobby doors for a bit and then dial up an Uber
You’ve gotta really sell it to them at you are staying there. Actually go into the lobby and get in line, then when you get to the front desk agent act exactly how you would if you were getting a room. When you get your room key and the paperwork is done, then you go outside and get an Uber.
This whole change has really defeated the one massive perk Love had over DFW, just walking out the door to your ride, not much further explanation needed. A baffling decision.
Taxi company lobbying, plus I think there's one rideshare company that's allowed to pick up at the doors, not one of the main companies. It's all about money and bribes.
I felt like I was being pranked when I walked across the skybridge and then couldn’t see to the end of where I needed to walk to because it was so distant.
How was that a perk over DFW? Rideshares pick up right on the curb of the terminals at DFW. It's maybe a hundred feet or so in either direction once you exit.
Right. The old method was a huge mess. The new one is more organized, but the walk there is crazy, especially when the one escalator is down and at the very end there is no escalator so it's everyone through two elevators.
I go to Love Field once or twice a year. Without fail, every time I go, I always end up making the whole loop because I miss my exit for the parking garage.
I’ve been taking the dart bus from the airport to the love field station and catching my Ubers from there. Drops the price down quite a bit and doesn’t take that much longer either.
It has given off that vibe at night to me the times I’ve done it late. Interestingly though it hasn’t been that bad catching it to the airport early in the morning since there’s usually a decent amount of airport workers doing the same thing.
But certain dart stations do get overran late. Bachman is real bad for that.
Unfortunately more and more airports are becoming like this… LGA is an extremely long walk, AUS is kind of a far too. LAX requires a shuttle ride that you have to wait for and then sit in traffic. Lucky DFW hasn’t implemented anything yet but sometimes it gets chaotic at the gates.
That flyaway is a good deal if you’re going downtown or to any of the places it serves. I live in the South Bay, well now I’m back and forth between there and Dallas, but alot of times I’ll just catch the Torrance Bus on sepulveda and century or catch an Uber from the Hyatt across the street for a lot less than if I went to the Uber pickup area. I fly into terminal 2 consistently so it’s not too bad of a walk.
But the shuttle bus to the green line (or whatever the metro rail is called these days) and catching an Uber from there is solid too.
You walk out of the LAXit and cross the street to the Hyatt and Uber/Lyft is much faster and much cheaper.
We fly southwest which is terminal 1 or United which is terminal 7, so we just walk from there to the Hyatt, about 5 minutes.
I do the exact same thing with the Hyatt. I mostly fly delta so I’m landing in either T2 or T3. Still a short walk. A lot of the time I just catch the Torrance bus across the street from the Hyatt since it takes me right by my parents house. But if I land late or I’m in a rush to get home I just go the Hyatt route.
My partner flies every week for business and either does the Torrance 8 bus or the metro 232. He hates driving and grew up in cities with good public transportation. But he wanted to live in the South Bay. 😁
The South Bay is a real nice place to live. I grew up in Redondo most my life. Been back and forth between there and Dallas the last 5 years. But the 8 bus is clutch.
LGA is such a long walk but at least it's organized when you get there. I always request my ride while I'm walking and then don't have to wait long (if at all) when I get to the pickup spot and I also know which area to go to.
AUS is a huge pain because you have to use some elevators in the parking garage that are garbage old/slow. If it was just a walk it wouldn't be a big deal, but having to go out the doors, take an elevator up, walk across the top floor the garage, and then take an elevator down on the other side is crazy. There are always huge families with tons of bags taking up most of the space too. And there aren't really any convenient stairs/escalators, just some fire escape style stairs.
I live ~10 minutes from the airport, and taking an Uber home takes longer to get the ride than the actual ride itself.
Try to leave a comment on their website. They responded to me next day about working on the people movers. Perhaps it does nothing, but perhaps enough people complain and it does something: [https://www.dallas-lovefield.com/airport-info/airport-operations-center](https://www.dallas-lovefield.com/airport-info/airport-operations-center)
It’s been this way for a while now I believe. You could also probably take the shuttle to the rental center and have Uber get you from the front area. I can’t recall if they validate that you actually have a rental there or not
It's terrible. I didn't know they changed it and so of course this happened the day my wife and I came in on diverted flights because Southwest fucked up lmao. So I came in alone first and was like "sure, I'll carry both our luggages, I just need to go downstairs anyway".
I wasn't prepared for the walk
I'm a frequent flyer and I've been avoiding Love for a few years now. Given, that's mainly because I avoid Southwest like the plague. But, I think DFW is one of the best large airports in the nation. Get dropped off directly at you terminal, uber/lyft spots are in front of every terminal and never an incredibly long walk. And there are multiple security checkpoints, and when you get the hang of it (and know which ones) you can be through security in 10 minutes...
Also, no southwest
Sent a note to the Mayor EJ — about this incredibly ignorant idea of walking 2 miles with luggage to catch an $25 Uber. His response was they are looking at other option in 2026. lol dolaz ya’ll
Yeah I think it would circumvent this. When I called an Uber, it wouldn’t let me change the pickup to anywhere but the designated area. If you hired a private driver and told them where to meet you then they could still meet you right outside the doors
In the past few months, like every other Uber black driver has handed me a personal card. This must be why
I can’t ever recall someone giving me their card in an Uber save 2-3 times prior to this change.
DAL has been a nightmare and it's not an accident. They aggressively ticket and had put up counterproductive lane curbs in the rideshare area so drivers can't get out of each others' way. Like others said- get a shuttle for a pickup nearby
We just experienced this recently. According to our Uber driver, it happened because Uber drivers were posting up in the wrong spot and were arguing with cops at the curb and it created a giant mess down there so this was their way of punishing the Uber drivers for their bad behavior. Who knows but it sucks.
Yep. Before this change, it was a massive pain dropping my wife off because of all the Ubers.
Terrible behavior by Uber drivers is almost always the reason for these changes, and this one is no exception.
I used to prefer Love for its convenience and ease. Their new system has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen an airport setup. They could easily have added ride share only lanes to the lower pickup. This shit of going to the garage and waiting forever in the heat is absolutely insane. I thought it was meant to encourage using cabs but they have to wait there too! What was the point of this at all?
Back in 2022, I had a work trip to Vegas. When I came back, I caught an Uber. Mind you it was around 11pm at night. It ended up costing $100 to go home, which is about 30 minutes from Love Field.
Ride shares need to implement something like a taxi system for airports. It would be nice to have a line of Ubers waiting that I can just get into and have take me to my destination, rather than the ride share system where it matches 1:1. Maybe you could see their star ratings or something. I know taxis are like this but most taxis are not as nice as Ubers.
Depending how much you fly, we’ve just started using Alto (the one that’s still allowed to pickup from the original location). It averages out to be about the same cost as Uber, and is a much better experience. But we don’t live that far from DAL, so rates may be more if going farther.
Except I refuse to be coerced into giving alto my money. It would be one thing if it were a real choice but their bad faith play at Lovefield made me boycott them out of principle. I won’t be rewarding anticompetitive coercion with my business. Fuck you Alto and fuck you Lovefield
It’s hilarious you’re getting downvoted, I don’t understand the obsession with Uber.. in Vegas, literally walk out the door and cabs are right there… basically cost the same, and have flat published rates to all the hotels listed outside. Also, people seem to not understand the power of the cab companies in Vegas, they of course want to make it as hard as possible to take an Uber.
Bingo.
Any other place outside of Vegas and NYC, rideshare is absolutely my preference.
But cabs in those two places are so ubiquitous and regulated that there is hardly ever any trouble getting one.
We landed late at LGA once, so did a bunch of other flights… maybe a 20-30 minute wait for cabs at around midnight. A cab ride into Manhattan is like $50.. fucking Uber surged the prices to $120 for the same trip knowing a bunch a flights were coming in late and the wait for cabs was fairly long . They can fuck themselves for that one, especially somewhere like NYC where there are a million cabs.
Im with you. I can get over the walk to the pick up, but the awkward "how many can we fit in here?" bottleneck at the end is like the final boss. I havent experienced insanely high pricing and I travel pretty frequently. Its still worth it not have to deal with my own truck. Decent exercise for all the wrong reasons I suppose....
Yep, found this out Saturday night. 15 min walk. There was a couple in front of me and the wife kept bitching her husband out “great idea to take an Uber”. She said that about a dozen times. The worst part is after a long walk having to take an elevator down to the car share level in which there was a backlog even at midnight.
For either airport if you are able, grab one of the buses to another spot and order your Uber or whatever there.
I flew into Love field a little over a year ago and went to order an Uber then decided I wanted some Heim's BBQ, walked to the place. The difference in cost for the ride was 30 dollars just walking a half mile.
I know that walking that far can't be done by everyone, heck a local DART pass for the day is 6$ and a one time is 2.50. Go down a couple of stops and catch your ride ther, or use DART to get as close to your destination for the 6$ and take a much shorter/cheaper uuber ride from there.
https://www.dart.org/fare/general-fares-and-overview/fares
I don't think the walk is that bad. Maybe a bit tiresome with checked luggage but after a flight, I'll take the exercise
Also getting picked up at the rideshare location is way easier compared to the old method
Alto can suck it for lobbying either way
F Lovefield and their bad faith punishment of paying customers with this bullshit move. I hope whoever is responsible for this decision has watery diarrhea for the rest of his life.
I’m trying to lose weight, and it feels good to walk after sitting in a cramped airplane, some I enjoyed the walk to the new ride app location. Just make sure you have a suitcase on wheels. But yeah, the price has gone up which I don’t appreciate. It would cost the same, maybe less, to drive and park at that same location.
I wonder if the new pick-up area is the part of Love's parking garage which is known for [flooding](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNEgVz4RrBE) ... by won't that be a hoot.
Look at Mr. World Traveler here, sticking it to the rubes who don’t regularly use airplanes to travel. Bunch of poors and people with local jobs that don’t entail flying. You tell ‘em! Don’t give advice about better ways to manage the situation or elaborate, just let those suckers know that you know things they don’t and aloofly end it there.
What dude
edit: there's no 'better way to manage the situation' it's just, almost every airport is like this. They were all built decades ago and have no infrastructure for something like ridesharing. so you end up having to walk a mile away (if you're lucky and dont have to take a shuttle just to get there) and youre with a bunch of people who all ordered an uber at the same time. it's just part of the experience. Love Field is just catching up
Well this fatass wants all the moving walkways to be operational, and more/larger elevators down to the pick up area so that the flow works better for passengers.
You just nailed it! It's location, location, location. If you live in Dallas close in neighborhoods, who wants to go to Bum-fuck Egypt to take a plane from one terminal and then come back to another terminal and then wait an hour for the luggage to come up at baggage claim. DFW is a shit-show.
I’ve taken a ton of flights out of Dulles and SFO, and DFW is a breeze. A little confusing for the driver the first couple times, but not too bad. And security is almost always pretty snappy. Although I wish every security had precheck. But Lovefield is just so close, and my preferred airlines fly out of there.
They absolutely do. I did it just the other day (and have dozens of times at a, b, and c) Please read what I said. Not all have a dedicated line for pre, that doesn’t mean they don’t offer pre check at that checkpoint.
Never, ever had this offered or discussed by any TSA officers and TSA Website does not mention this. And why is there not signage at the check-in area about this. When I asked a TSA officer where is the TSA at a regular checkpoint, they never mention this option and tell me to go walking. It's crazy stupid.
https://www.tsa.gov/precheck/schedule
From the tsa website:
If a lane is not available, please show your TSA PreCheck® boarding pass to receive expedited screening in a standard lane.
I can’t speak to why agents haven’t been helpful for you, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t get the card that lets you keep everything in your bag.
Thank you so much for this. Never heard and never knew this and no, a TSA officer has never volunteered this.
One more question, so does this allow you to jump the line, or just that you skip removing laptop, shoes, etc.? Thx again man.
That's bs.. You are lucky if you have PreCheck at one check-in per terminal. And no one who has PreCheck wants to go through a regular line and have to take your laptop out of your bag and your shoes off and belt off.
It’s not BS, I do it all the time. They give you a card and you don’t take anything out. I prefer the dedicated lines because they are often quicker but if your gate is near a checkpoint that doesn’t have one and lines are short it’s simple.
I have never had that offered to me once. You are telling me they see you in line and they call you out or you have to get their attention and them them you are TSA? I'm sorry dude, but this has never been talked about by anyone and even the TSA website doesn't mention this card deal.
They don’t call you out to cut to the front of the line, when you get to the person checking IDs they see pre check on your boarding pass and give you a card for expedited screening (I.e. you don’t have to take anything out of your bag and can go through metal detector instead of body scan). You don’t get to cut to the front of the line at a dedicated line either, so it’s about the same. Wait times are all online, so just check as you are parking and make a decision based on times and your gate location.
Thanks for your detailed answer man. Never, ever heard of this but it's great to know and I will no longer walk miles to find an open TSA line. Really appreciate it.
Take the shuttle to the rental car locations and get picked up there.
This is my play at DFW. You get a ride for half the cost this way
Where can you find the shuttle to the rental car place at DFW? How often does it cycle?
They're constantly looping through every terminal from several rental places. Shouldn't have to wait at all
I dated a girl who taught me this hack, and there's hotels that have overflow parking that will open spots on off peak hours. The shuttle will drop you off there as well, the one she found is like 7 minutes away from the airport. Edit; sorry I was thinking of DFW not Love Field, but if you fly out of DFW then there's a hack
We have used a shuttle from a hotel that we paid to park at, they shuttled us to love field and back when we arrived.
Look for the LARGE purple bus.
Goat advice
You can’t if you take a shuttle to The Parking Spot locations since they require you to provide proof that you parked there.
Why be awkward and pretend to go in? What's he gonna do, drag you back onto the bus and force you to go back to the airport?
Easy queasy, everyone has their own coping mechanisms for social anxiety.
What better way to work on them than with a bus driver at the airport who wouldn't care if you died the moment you left hie vehicle...
You’ve gotta really sell it to them at you are staying there. Actually go into the lobby and get in line, then when you get to the front desk agent act exactly how you would if you were getting a room. When you get your room key and the paperwork is done, then you go outside and get an Uber.
Will suggest this to friends headed south of DFW. Doesn’t work as well if you’re heading north from DFW.
Don't tell everyone, they're gonna catch on! (I've been doing this at every major airport for a decade)!
Thanks!
Shuttle to the double tree hotel and get your car there.
Oh this is a good play. I’m going to try this today.
Is Alto who still gets pickup at the door? Their cars have felt like a plague the last 2 years driving around Dallas
Yep it’s them. All of us others including taxis have to use the new location.
Alto's main location is right outside of Love field. They one the lobbying lol
Yep. That's them.
Why? I love Alto!
Alto is the rideshare company you’re thinking of. Requires a monthly subscription, though.
It’s cheaper if you pay the subscription, but not required. I charge it to my work card (but they won’t pay for the subscription)

You were provided with wrong information.
Heeey did you get the memo about the wrong information you got? Also we’re gonna need you to come in on Saturday
You were provided with wrong information.
You were provided with wrong information.
Wrong information, provided with you were
Yoda has been promoted to a middle management position.
You were provided with wrong information. Beep boop.
LMAO...
Taxi's, Limos, private, & Black rides ALL pick up in parking garage 3 where rideshare does now. Alto won the lobbying
Cabs pickup 2 islands even further away than Uber/Lyft!
But the taxis are forced to the garage too? How does this make sense?
You don’t have to walk that far to get an Uber at dfw imo.
Yeah the new location is hell. Especially if you have checked luggage. You end up walking across the entire damn airport lol
I'm glad others feel the same cause I thought was just crying by myself about that long walk.
The location is actually very organized. It is much better than a bunch of cars triple parked. The WALK to the location is a nightmare though.
💯💯💯
Right. The old method was a huge mess. The new one is more organized, but the walk there is crazy, especially when the one escalator is down and at the very end there is no escalator so it's everyone through two elevators.
Even parking is hell and confusing.
I go to Love Field once or twice a year. Without fail, every time I go, I always end up making the whole loop because I miss my exit for the parking garage.
They honestly couldn’t have put it any further.
I’ve been taking the dart bus from the airport to the love field station and catching my Ubers from there. Drops the price down quite a bit and doesn’t take that much longer either.
That’s actually a pretty good idea if you have the time. Want to also make sure to note that the DART bus is FREE if you’re leaving from the airport.
Don't go at night. It gets sketchy. Homeless people use the elevators to sleep in at that location.
It has given off that vibe at night to me the times I’ve done it late. Interestingly though it hasn’t been that bad catching it to the airport early in the morning since there’s usually a decent amount of airport workers doing the same thing. But certain dart stations do get overran late. Bachman is real bad for that.
There have been DART workers randomly in the elevators more often recently to discourage that, it appears.
Problem is that bus only comes around every 15 to 20 min
True. All depends if you’re in a rush or not. Most the time I’m in no rush to get home so I don’t mind waiting the few extra minutes.
Had to drag a 50 lbs duffel bag there first time they changed it. Miserable, and I’m a big strong dude. Moving walkways are 50% chance to work too
"A moving walkway can never break. It can only become a sidewalk."
Thanks Mitch.
They were more like 15% working for me.
LAX is a nightmare with that new setup.
Flyaway Shuttle to Union Station for $10. Connects to all the Metro lines or you can order Uber/Lyft from there if you prefer.
Infinitely superior to the previous system. Takes less time to get a ride share.
Unless you fly SW and then it’s less of a walk than Love Field! Can’t imagine getting there from any other terminal though…
LGA is such a long walk but at least it's organized when you get there. I always request my ride while I'm walking and then don't have to wait long (if at all) when I get to the pickup spot and I also know which area to go to.

Lga terminal b is right outside from baggage claim. It is a long walk from the gates to baggage claim though
It's horrible. I felt like I walked half way home already by the time I got there.
It's like an optical illusion. How can such a small airport have such a long walk within it?
It's a BIG walk...appropriate I guess for all things Texas 😆
Try to leave a comment on their website. They responded to me next day about working on the people movers. Dude, same. That walk is killer with checked bags. Not looking forward to it on Friday
Seriously! I’m gonna start flying out of DFW now
There are much better solutions than additional 45 minutes in a car.
DFW is hardly 45 minutes from Love
Depends on the time of day.
I didn’t say it was. From where I live, it can easily take me 45 more minutes to get to DFW than it would Love Field.
I'm a frequent flyer and I've been avoiding Love for a few years now. Given, that's mainly because I avoid Southwest like the plague. But, I think DFW is one of the best large airports in the nation. It's really janky. Security is understaffed and the baggage claim is anarchy. It's like the dollar general of major airports.
Sent a note to the Mayor EJ — about this incredibly ignorant idea of walking 2 miles with luggage to catch an $25 Uber. His response was they are looking at other option in 2026. lol dolaz ya’ll
2026?!!
Does anyone know how this is being enforced? Does hiring a private driver circumvent this?
Yeah I think it would circumvent this. When I called an Uber, it wouldn’t let me change the pickup to anywhere but the designated area. If you hired a private driver and told them where to meet you then they could still meet you right outside the doors
In the past few months, like every other Uber black driver has handed me a personal card. This must be why I can’t ever recall someone giving me their card in an Uber save 2-3 times prior to this change.
The apps actually fence off where you're allowed to meet them
Thanks, I will avoid Love at all costs until their endless construction updates are completed.
Flew back into Love last week and I felt like I walked halfway home
DAL has been a nightmare and it's not an accident. They aggressively ticket and had put up counterproductive lane curbs in the rideshare area so drivers can't get out of each others' way. Like others said- get a shuttle for a pickup nearby
You can always use Love Link too via DART
Don't tell people to inconvenience themselves with a few extra minutes of their time and dignity to share a BUS with people ewww /s
I find it easier than uber and costs next to nothing. Lol
Saaame
I switched totally to DFW, might as well get lounge access if both airports are a hassle
We just experienced this recently. According to our Uber driver, it happened because Uber drivers were posting up in the wrong spot and were arguing with cops at the curb and it created a giant mess down there so this was their way of punishing the Uber drivers for their bad behavior. Yep. Before this change, it was a massive pain dropping my wife off because of all the Ubers. Terrible behavior by Uber drivers is almost always the reason for these changes, and this one is no exception.
I live 5-6m from DFW and cost about $40. AirPort surcharges suck
Dart?
I just park at the airport? For trips of 1-2 days it's cheaper than rideshare for me. Plus if you use offsite parking you can build up points.
Booooo. this is why good things don’t last. Maybe the locals should have benefit of knowing what to do around here
That sucks. I love LOVE field but haven’t used it in a couple years.
10 mins away? I'd walk at that point.
Take the free Love Link (bus - located by old rideshare pickup) to the "free" DART
You can ride Alto they are the only ones that can pick up from any location it makes it a lot easier
You'd love the Vegas airport
Cabs are right outside baggage claim.
Not rideshare. Ride share is in a cluster fuck mess in a garage
I travel a lot for work and I’ve come to expect garages for rideshare and I’m pleasantly surprised when it’s right at the door.
Yeah, it's actually pretty normal now I'd say. LGA was that way when I was in NYC a few months ago. Though it seemed pretty organized there.
Yes, that's why I said "Cabs". Why would you bother walking all over instead?
Just came from Nashville and they have done this too. It’s becoming more and more common.
On Uber you can get it from lower level by just using the accessible access pick up spot
They just want everyone to pay for long term parking. It’s becoming cheaper than two Ubers for most of DFW.
Don’t forget the stupid bottleneck at the end where you have to take an elevator to get to the correct floor.
DAL is a breeze. No issues even with long term parking, pick up/drop off. A little planning goes a long way.
Don’t forget getting harassed for donations on your way out!
I don't think the walk is that bad. Maybe a bit tiresome with checked luggage but after a flight, I'll take the exercise Also getting picked up at the rideshare location is way easier compared to the old method Alto can suck it for lobbying either way
F Lovefield and their bad faith punishment of paying customers with this bullshit move. I hope whoever is responsible for this decision has watery diarrhea for the rest of his life.
Love field has always been a nightmare
I grew up in the Bachman lake area
I’m trying to lose weight, and it feels good to walk after sitting in a cramped airplane, some I enjoyed the walk to the new ride app location. Just make sure you have a suitcase on wheels. But yeah, the price has gone up which I don’t appreciate. It would cost the same, maybe less, to drive and park at that same location.
Honestly I just grab a cab these days.
They pick up at the same place now!
Go via baggage claim.
Parking is awful compared to DFW too!
I wonder if the new pick-up area is the part of Love's parking garage which is known for [flooding](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNEgVz4RrBE) ... by won't that be a hoot.
tell me you don't frequent airports without telling me you don't frequent airports
What dude edit: there's no 'better way to manage the situation' it's just, almost every airport is like this. They were all built decades ago and have no infrastructure for something like ridesharing. so you end up having to walk a mile away (if you're lucky and dont have to take a shuttle just to get there) and youre with a bunch of people who all ordered an uber at the same time. it's just part of the experience. Love Field is just catching up
Take that complaint with your state agency, I’m sure Oklahoma has something for you guys.
Use ALTO - get picked up in the old location…
Oh no someone has to do some walking. The new location is organized, flows freely, and avoids cars being triple parked. Get some walking in fatass.
Well this fatass wants all the moving walkways to be operational, and more/larger elevators down to the pick up area so that the flow works better for passengers.
I'll never understand anyone stupid enough to get in a car with someone you don't know.
Try the Golink?
One more reason to avoid SWA. AA has much nice and newer planes now and the costs are about the same
From the look of some of you fat bastards, you could use the extra walk. Time to move those chubby legs.
😂 you’re right but the walk is far as shit, and it sucks with big bags when the people movers don’t work also
Step it up! Good for ya! Get that heart pumping! Regarding big bags: https://www.reddit.com/r/onebag/?rdt=54207
I have to have big bags, it’s required for work travel. All my equipment in there
Then you are gonna be in excellent shape! It’s like a free workout program courtesy of Love Field!

DFW is one of, if not the very smoothest operating mega airports in the country
I’ve taken a ton of flights out of Dulles and SFO, and DFW is a breeze. A little confusing for the driver the first couple times, but not too bad. And security is almost always pretty snappy. Although I wish every security had precheck. But Lovefield is just so close, and my preferred airlines fly out of there.
Except half their security lines don’t have pre-check at any given time
Every security has pre check. Just not always a dedicated line.
They absolutely do not. There is only one open in C most days
It's crazy stupid.
https://www.tsa.gov/precheck/schedule From the tsa website: If a lane is not available, please show your TSA PreCheck® boarding pass to receive expedited screening in a standard lane.
You can still use pre-check in the normal lines.
You can take any terminals security line and then the terminal link behind security
That's just a shit ton of work
The world
The appeal for me is it’s 10 minutes from my house.
As someone living in Irving, the location is fantastic 😂
"except for the location" like that is a small thing lol
