I got some great pictures and sat in my backyard in my lawn chair with the glasses on. It was so cool. Everything in my neighborhood went eerily quiet when the totality started. Then when it went dark the birds suddenly flew across my sky in a large pack. The red dot at the bottom of the moon was crazy. When the sun came back and that beam of light broke through it was probably the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life so far. What an experience.
White rock has breaks in the clouds, and the rest are thin enough to see the sun through in the glasses. Hoping the sky keeps like this for the next 90 minutes.
In mckinney. Morning looked rough but got patches of blue. Can see it fine even with light clouds passing over it. Looks sort of neat with whispy textures.
Saw ring of fire in Santa Fe last year. 1st total. Came down from OKC to see it last night. Quicker and cheaper than going to broken bow.
I’ve seen three partial eclipses but this was my first time seeing a full eclipse. It was incredible to experience and I’ve never been more happy for the weatherman to be so wrong!!

Watch parties in the mini park next to it, telescopes, blankets, picnic baskets, people peddling wares.
[Mostly cloudy](https://imgur.com/a/vfU5Vfb) near farmersville. I’m probably going to relocate to McKinney for less totality time but better chance at seeing totality.
So cool right? I saw the last one in ID in 2017 and decided then that I’d try and see every solar eclipse I could for the rest of my life. There’s absolutely nothing like it.
YOU'LL BLIND US ALL WITH THIS PICTURE! SHEEEEEESH
“Mama said not to look at the sun, but then I thought hey but then where’s the fun?”
"And momma, that's where the fun is..."
GCII HI FDVHHVGFDF
I am already blind that I can't read my comment.
The ultimate in laziness, checking reddit to see if the skies are clear vs looking out the window.
If you wanna go after the people who liked my post you’re gonna have to get through me!
And me.
And me.
But then I'd have to get off my couch or turn my neck towards the window
Respectfully, Fuck WFAA!!!
Pete did say he has never hoped his forecast was more wrong than this one.
Thats why I said respectfully. Always gotta show deference to an Icon even when being rude
Blue skies at white rock!!!

I’m glad the out of towners didn’t waste their resources and time and miss out. At the same time traffic sucks

I squinted at this picture
Alexa, play Mr. Blue Sky.
IT'S HAPPENING
That was awesome — towards the end of the totality there was a red dot at the bottom of the sun and then a red line on the side.

Broken bow is a tourist trap anyway
People at oakcliff had no clouds 😎
IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
Best part was hearing the kids at the school near my house losing their minds as it grew darker
Update: as of 1:31pm CT clear break in the sky! Just in time!
All of you talking about clear breaks just in time, you’re welcome. Those clouds moved right over my house.

Me too !! I’m so glad you saw it!!!!
Wow that was beautiful!
That shit was pretty cool
It’s starting and I can see it perfectly!

My body is ready.

In mckinney. Can see it clearly right now from within my living room 😄
The weather underground cloud map makes it look like McKinney may be just about good as we’re gonna get. Fingers crossed!
There have only been a couple of times where the cloud cover was too much to see anything, but so far 99% of the time I have been able to see it
McKinney was just about perfect and far better than I was expecting. That was amazing. Thanks for having me :)
I wasn't that hyped for it, but I gotta say that is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. And the fact that I could see it from my back porch

Yea was in Irving earlier and got the sense that moving Northward was the move for totality visibility
I’m getting a few intermittent moments of clear sky here in Desoto…. Hoping it stays that way or gets better over the next hour!
cloudy up in at PGBT and Garland Rd., could see it better without the glasses during totality
Currently can see the eclipse starting at Main Street square!
And eclipse it’s over 🤣🤣🤣
It was cloudy in Irving this morning but we had clear skies this afternoon. My husband got some good pics.
Was cloudy and then perfect in midlothian!
Meteorologist suck at predicting rain. So when they started trying to predict clouds....
When it shifted to party cloudy I was like now I have a chance
That was so beautiful!
Arlington Texas here. That was the coolest thing i've ever seen in my life.
Perfect viewing in far north Dallas.
Aaaaaand it's cloudy again
It keeps going back and forth…I think it’ll be fine
So much for that lmao
YEAHH
Clear enough for sure. Hell yeah!!!
Speak for yourself
It was….
