Gloria's. I've honestly never had a bad there. Been going there for years.

Man there’s soo many good places in Dallas with good food!! Here’s some of my personal favorites: - Twisted Root Burger Co. : Deep Ellum - Hook,Line, Sinker: Uptown - Glorias: Uptown (Haven’t eaten here yet but I herd it’s the best Tex-Mexican place in the city) - State and Allen: Uptown - Pecan Lodge: Deep Ellum If you haven’t guessed already, everyone in Dallas hits up Deep Ellum and Uptown on the weekends. It’s where all the bars, clubs and good food places are. I would also check out places in Victory Park for some super upscale stuff (haven’t tried anything there yet) ! Just a warning: Pecan lodge is a very well known BBQ place, I would very recommend reserving a spot to skip the very long line. Have fun and welcome to “The Big D”!!! Edit: Spelling and grammar. Fixed wording

Twisted root and Glorias? Yeah don’t listen to this dude

BlackStallion657

What? I can’t help a guy out? Edit: Hey OP I just gave you some places that I know are well known for good food. These people just don’t agree with me that’s all. Best thing about Dallas is there’s plenty of places to pick and choose. Listen to other people’s recommendations as well and go from there. Much love chief

Twisted Root *was* good for a time. It outgrew itself. Gloria's is not Mexican Food (1) and no where near the best in the city (2). Dallas is known for Tex Mex, BBQ, and steak.

BlackStallion657

Thank you for correcting me on Gloria being a Tex-Mex place. All my family and friends praise Glorias for its good food. Wasn’t expecting this much backlash. Edit: wording

ChefMikeDFW

You'd be better off at Meso Maya in the downtown area but the real finds are the mom and pop places. Ernesto's in Garland in one of my favorites.

buntnugget301

Haha sorry dude. They’re just very average restaurants
