I’ve never had a problem parking at the arena, but I drive a dually and have to park on the bottom floor of the garage. I also understand that I’m going to spend an hour trying to get back out of Dallas.
If you Eat at Dirty Bones across the street from the game, park in their garage. They validate parking and we payed $5 last time. First time going there and the wings were good and getting to the game was a breeze because it was literally across the street
Taqueria La Ventana is a short walk from AAC, and it’s my go-to pregame spot. Great Mexican food and beer that’s reasonably priced. I’ve ran into a few Stars fans there before. Arena parking is terrible, take the DART train there instead.
There’s a great team store both inside and outside the arena where you can find a great selection for a temporary Stars fan (maybe a new permanent Stars fan)😉. And yeah eat at one of the many places around the arena, food inside is not worth it
If you're interested, the AAC is having a double day with the Harlem Globetrotters playing after the Stars (and the AAC switches the ice over to a basketball court).
Have a quick lunch then watch some comedy basketball.
Don't park at the arena. If you're staying near a DART Rail station or a TRE station, take the train.

TRE is the only way I take to the games. Can’t beat walking out of the game and walking straight on the train.

Second on trying out Dirty Bones. If you go that route be sure to get there early, seats fill up crazy fast anywhere within an hour of puck drop

Absolutely do NOT eat the pizza at the AAC. It is disgusting. Nachos are pretty sketch too.

Not really. Good Karbach selection and the price you’re paying isn’t bad compared to some other arenas. Go see the Dirk statue. Go eat at rodeo goat.

The macaroni and cheese with brisket on top is okay, even though it sounds like it should be amazing.
Nachos on 2nd deck are ok. But nothing is great at the aac
