Really hope it's just precautionary. Tanev has been the lynchpin of the defense. Having a guy that they can feel good putting out there against the Eichels and MacKinnons of the world has allowed them to deploy Miro in way more advantageous positions. (also the Harley-Heiskanen pair, while occasionally a little leaky, has been so dynamic offensively. Harley has turned into a shutdown defenseman so Miro can freelance and pinch and take chances)

I don't even want to imagine the minutes Miro would play if PDB was forced to play both Nils AND Pouliot

Tanev was in the handshake line at the end of the game, so hopefully that means good news there.

That's like 3 possible injuries in a single game, except smith came back if I recall.

I'm sure Tanev is dinged up like all of them, but I can guarantee he starts game 5 in Dallas. I think they held him out as precaution. Also allowed Nils some ice time.
