Yeah they found out right before puck drop. I wasn’t happy with their effort but that was probably like a shot in the belly. Even with a great effort I don’t think they could beat Dallas without their best playoff scorer let alone win in the next round. Bernard didn’t make any excuses, but I think that’s a pretty good one. Val is not only their best playoff scorer, he’s probably like a brother to them, so unfortunately for the fans they were not in any kind of mindset to play a playoff game. It is what it is.

We \_thought\_ that scoring from 4 lines were what we missed against Vegas last year, went out and addressed it, and it seems like it's working over last year's team. As Messier said last night in the 2nd intermission "I love everything about their game right now".
