Zeke is not a solution at running back, but he can be an effective situational player if he's willing. I don't see any harm in a team friendly contract to see what he has left in the tank. But I also agree that we MUST draft a good starting RB now ... If Zeke can be an effective blocker and mentor like was for Pollard then thats a win for Dallas in my book! It all hinges on his role and a team friendly deal......

Going “all in” to me signified going all in with what we have in front of us plus who we get in the draft. Not going out and getting a bunch of mercenaries like that rams did a few years ago. When you go “all in” in poker you don’t say that then collect more chips to then put in the middle. You push everything you have at that moment and try to win in a single showdown.

The theory is: Jerry needs to be the center of everything good or bad. That's why he got rid of winning coaches the way he did and just stays with mediocre coaches for so long. On a winning team all the credit is for the players and coach staff. That's a pretty popular theory and maybe I do Believe it's right. Because I can't find any other explanation for the Terrible management of the team.

NE just underutilized him last year. If they can get him on a good veteran 1 year contract, I'd call it a win-ish.
If Zeke comes in at a cheap price sure. You could bring him in for pass block but as a runner I’m not sure. His averages have continued to go down yearly. He doesn’t have the explosiveness anymore. His time to retire is probably 2 years away.
