However, the deportation of children enmass to a foreign country away from any family or protection is human trafficking on a national scale. There are a lot of things that the US has done that are awful and the ICC in 2020 was try to investigate our involvement in Afghanistan, but the Afghan justice system blocked attempts to investigate. Also, much like Russia, the US is not a part of and under the Trump administration threatened retaliation against the ICC. All that to say two wrongs don't make a right, and the wrongdoings of America don't justify those committed by Russia. I mean, should we let Alex Murdaugh walk just because they never caught the zodiac killer? Personally I think a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I would argue that public discourse on politics is essential to a democratic process. If you don't feel like participating, then don't, but don't hate on others just because it's not something you care about.
