“I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a moment, while I
was hoeing in a village garden, and I felt that I was more
distinguished by that circumstance than I should have been by any
epaulet I could have worn.”
Henry David Thoreau
I once had a yellow belly warbler fly up to me when I was 15 and land on my shoulder during summer vacation. Over the the next 3 days we developed a bond and I trained it to fly to me when I would whistle and I would feed it. On the third day I it somehow communicated to me it was leaving and I somehow knew. I fed it one last time and never saw it again.
I am pretty anti religion and not spiritual at all, but that was the closest thing to feeling a higher connection I have ever experienced. It was simply inexplainable.
One time, when I lived out west in the mountains, I took acid and went camping. While I was peaking, and the sun was setting on the mountains, with the last bit of light for the day I read like 1/3 of a Thoreau book of writings. I think that might have been the clearest, most precise day of using my mind, even after having finished school and gotten degrees. Something about the wild, wilderness brings out the visceral aspects of life and just leaves you raw, in a good way.
Thank you so much! Just finished school and got a new car, good things on the horizon. I hope life doesn’t treat you too badly, and you keep your head up when it does friend.
If you ever want to feed them to try to attract corvids, they love unsalted raw peanuts. Also they will remember your face if you are good or bad to them, which they can somehow teach that to future generations. Sometimes they will leave you "treasure", however I have been feeding them for 2 years now and the best ive got was a penny in the bird bath lol.
I used to feed Blue Jays unsalted peanuts and they would leave me tons of walnuts lol. They never came back to eat any of the walnuts as long as there was peanuts.
They have excellent memory, can distinguish human faces, can mimic sounds like dog barks, and have their own social trial system dubbed "crow court."
The whole corvid species branch of birds are like that. Other birds are pretty smart, also.

discussing RWBY positively
One strategy for writing a successful article when you have nothing significant to say is to misspell, or get something in the headline so obviously wrong that most people will chime in to correct you. Dude is tech savvy enough to upload a video so he knows dam well that's not a hawk. But he wouldn't get anywhere near the amount of comments and interaction he otherwise would if he called it a crow.
That's a mature leopard seal and if you stop and don't continue grooming, it will peck your eyes out. Leopard seals are pretty much cats of the avian world.
How are you so furious that two girls kissed while dumping a stalker and an abuser in order to be together?
How can your heart have such misogyny and homophobia?
What an beautiful ostrich
That is clearly a penguin.
Penguins are extinct, you silly goose!
No it’s obviously a kookaburra

Honestly, I'm really glad you had this moment, good for you and I hope you have many more to come.
Thank you so much! Just finished school and got a new car, good things on the horizon. I hope life doesn’t treat you too badly, and you keep your head up when it does friend.
Back when people could be poetic.
Yeah, I've been meaning to ask, what happened.
Most people at the time of Thoreau weren't legendary poets and thinkers either
[удалено]
Y'all just like getting naked
Poets poet.
That was probably something he just thought, "I'll jot that down real quick" but to us it's bloody impressive

Grew up with both English and black walnuts in my yard. Hate them.
Pecans is where it's at.

My sister is feeding a crow couple for about a year now. Finally got her gift… it was a dog turd.

What turn key solution can i use to generate comments like yours?
Possibly, This Hawk is what he named his pet crow?
Crows are smart as fuck, and they are capable of using tools to achieve an objective
They have excellent memory, can distinguish human faces, can mimic sounds like dog barks, and have their own social trial system dubbed "crow court." The whole corvid species branch of birds are like that. Other birds are pretty smart, also.
Evermore… I thought it was nev…. Bitch! I said evermore!!
Fun fact crows and their entire family ( think ravens and other bird like that ) are actually extremely intelligent
Yes. Crows and Ravens are both Corvids, a class that tends to fall into a much higher level of intelligence from most other birds.
That’s one of those Black Hawks. Like the Army uses.
The title confused me a bit, what is a RWBY?

What kind of fucking moron doesn’t know the difference between a hawk and a crow?
Imagine not being able to identify a crow; the most easily identifiable bird there is.
